Discover the magic of Erika McGann's The Broken Spell

Calling all fictional witch lovers and those who adore reading about casting spells and mastering flight. With schoolwork taking over your weekends, reading a good book is perfect for study breaks. So put down your pencil and prepare to be captured by The Broken Spell by Erika McGann.

Follow along as besties Grace, Jenny, Rachel, Adie and Una learn what it takes to become the witches they’ve always hoped to be. After a super scary first experience with witchcraft, the girls are now forced to sit through boring lectures about plants and the Earth way before they’re allowed to test out their magic. Who knew it would be so hard to stay awake in a class about spells?! This quintet never want to step foot in the classroom again. That is until Ms. Gold appears, and their whole world gets flipped upside down.

The girls say goodbye to repetitive information and soon, they find themselves casting spells, taking flying lessons and tackling even more responsibilities than they could ever imagine.

The past seems to repeat itself, though, and the girls eventually find themselves trying to get out of a sticky situation involving werewolves, demons and some unsightly creatures. Will the girls’ friendship survive once again? Will they be able to escape alive?

Erika McGann creates an exciting novel that will keep you turning the page from the moment you pick it up. We love the friendships she creates within her characters and the fact that they’re easy to relate to (aside from the whole witch part, of course).

Be sure to pick up a copy of The Broken Spell (in stores now!) then come back and share your thoughts.
