Hogwarts? Who cares. Ilvermorny is where it's at.

We always dreamed of going to Hogwarts when we were younger—but realistically, we knew we didn't have a shot. Not because we're Muggles—after all, GL girls are 100% magic—but because Hogwarts is a British wizarding school. If we were really serious about our magical education, we'd stay local. The only problem was that the North American school was still pretty secretive—until now.

Just over a month ago, we found out that school's name—Ilvermorny—and, starting tomorrow, we'll be finding out a lot more.

Starting tomorrow, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling is rolling out another series of stories about the mysterious American school. Called Magic in North America, the miniseries will be published over the span of four days and can be found on Pottermore, the site for all things HP (BTW, if you somehow still haven't signed up, you need to—the whole site is filled with gems).

According to Pottermore, the miniseries will function as a set up for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film trilogy (catch the first flick this November). Look forward to reading more about American wizard life, including stories about Ilvermorny and the Salem witch trials. With Rowling's wizarding world continuing to grow over the years, we can't wait to find out more about our section of the globe.

Check out this exclusive video on the subject from Entertainment Weekly.

Will you be checking back tomorrow for the first story? What do you think about Rowling sharing more info and stories over the years?
