Waiting for a crush to make a move? You’ll *totally* relate to this poem

I look out my window on a rainy day.
Wondering what you are thinking anyway.
Have we lost our touch?
Have we done too much?
Why it’s everyone but us.

Why do I waste my time waiting for you?
Waiting for you?
When I know you'll never come.
And why do I waste my time thinking of you?
Thinking of you?
Hurting isn't that much fun.

Will you be here tomorrow?
Will it be today?
I'm just waiting for you to take me away.

Come sweep me off of my feet.
Come kiss me in the rain.
Come dance with me under the stars.
Please baby please, don't make me wait.

Don't make me wait.

Another day down.
Still you don't have a clue.
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
You still don't see.
I'm not over you.

I guess we lost our touch.
I guess we did too much.
Why is it everyone but us?

Why do I waste my time waiting for you?
Waiting for you?
When I know you'll never come.
Why do I waste my time thinking of you?
Thinking of you?
Hurting isn't that much fun.

Will it be tomorrow.
It sure isn't today.
I'm just praying that you'll come and take me away.

Come and sweep me off of my feet.
Come and kiss me in the rain.
Come dance with me under the stars.
Please baby please, don't make me.

Come and sweep me off of my feet.
Come and kiss me in the rain.
Come dance with me under the stars.
Please baby please, don't make me wait.
