7 books to binge-read on Wattpad this weekend

If you're a book lover looking for something more, you've got a whole new library with Wattpad. This app is *full* of free novels, short stories and poetry for on-the-go enjoyment. While some of the stories on the site are written by professional writers, most are written by amateurs—some really are girls like you.

There are literally *millions* of books to read in every genre imaginable from young adult romances to historical fiction mysteries, but today we're going to just list eight of our absolute fave teen fic Wattpad reads.

The A-Team

The A-Team takes you on Jemma's journey from homeless middle schooler to idolized pop star. Thankfully, Jemma has her long-time best friend, Oliver, to help her through the ups and downs of life. Things get a little complicated when Oliver starts hanging out with the wrong crowd and Jemma meets Blayke, the lead singer of British boy band Reason Being. There are some mature themes in this story so make sure you are okay with a PG-13 level of language and some tough stuff content.

Ice Cream, Teasing, and Awkward Situations

This is an adorable story that has skyrocketed to the top ranks of Wattpad in the past couple of months. This teen fic is about a girl named Mia and her love-hate relationship with a cute—but problematic—boy named Ethan. If you love books with *big* rom-com vibes, Ice Cream, Teasing, and Awkward Situations is totally for you.

Pumpkin Patch Princess

Pumpkin Patch Princess is a delightful re-telling of Cinderella in a modern-day setting with some minor, okay, major twists. For our girls who love a good fantasy read, this one is *totes* for you.

The Vigilante's Handbook (Misfits #1)

If you love a boarding school type of story with a rebellious female protagonist, then check out The Vigilante's Handbook. This adventurous tale is a good mix of fantasy and friendship. It's the perfect read for fans of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.

The Cell Phone Swap

The Cell Phone Swap is a super unique story because it is told primarily through text messages. The story is about an introverted girl who accidentally swaps cell phones with the school's biggest jock.  This is a classic good-girl-falls-for-bad-boy type of story that will have you feeling *all* the feels.

Checkers

Fans of The Princess Diaries will fall in love with this story about a 17-year-old American orphan who suddenly finds out she is royalty and is sent away to a foreign country. She'll have to learn what it means to be a princess. Will she crack under pressure or rise to success? You'll have to read to find out.

Foster Brothers

This is a heart-warming story about a girl named Campbell in the foster care system who is adopted by a family with five boys. As Campbell adjusts to this new life, she learns what it feels like to be loved by a family and she meets one of her brothers' best friends, a cute boy named Brent, who changes her life forever.
