Olivia Rodrigo: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon

@books.mal.reads

This recommendation comes from the SOUR queen herself: It tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher John Francis Boone, an autistic mathemetician who discovers that his neighbor's poodle was killed in the middle of the night. Christopher sets out to solve the murder, resulting in an eventuful story full of unexpected tricks and turns.

Daisy Edgar-Jones: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

@kalena.reads

In an interview with the New Yorker, Daisy Edgar-Jones said that The Hunger Games is one of her favorite romances. While a slightly unconventional choice, we can't help but agree that this story has some of the best romances in YA literature. In a dystopian future, Katniss Everdeen volunteers in her sister's place for the annual Hunger Games competition, a televised fight to the death among teenagers. The story explores Katniss' triumphs and defeats as she fights for survival.

Lucy Hale: Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid

@fresh.air.reads

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale loves Taylor Jenkins Reid's quintessential beach read, Malibu Rising. The story follows four siblings as they host the party of the summer in 1980s SoCal. The story intertwines the family's past and present as they explore what led up to the great party—and the inevitable destruction.

Margot Robbie: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

@age_undreamed_of

Yep, Barbie hearts The Hobbit: Explore a fantastical world in Tolkien's classic. Follow Bilbo Baggins as he explores Middle-Earth on a quest to claim treasure from the dragon Smaug.

Sabrina Carpenter: The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

@suzylew_bookreview

Sabrina Carpenter recommends The Hate U Give, the story of 16-year-old Carter who is trying to find a balance between her poor neighborhood and her fancy prep school. Tensions come to a head when Carter witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend by a police officer. This page-turner will keep you hooked from the first chapter.
