Girl to the Core

Molly loves her family, her best friend and her boyfriend. But it’s getting a little hard to be the girl they all think she is.

Her friend, Vanessa, wants her to be carefree and adventurous. Her boyfriend, Trevor, wants their relationship to move a little faster. Her family just wants her to be herself, but Molly is beginning to think she doesn’t even know who that person is anymore.

When Trevor cheats on her and Vanessa starts to get distant, Molly wonders if it’s her fault. Then, by accident, she begins attending Girl Corps club meetings and suddenly Molly is reevaluating her relationships with her friends and family, and finding out exactly what kind of girl she is at her core.

Stacey Goldblatt’s novel (out now) is full of really vivid and realistic characters and the story is super sweet. More importantly, it’s really universal. Every girl needs to know what kind of person she is at her core. And the book even includes a list of fun journal questions in the back to help you start figuring that out.
