Style 911
I'm going coat shopping soon. The problem? I have to get a ski jacket. Are there any ways to pull off a ski jacket and look chic while doing it?
Looking sporty AND stylish can sometimes be a hard trick to pull off. We’ve put together some ideas to keep you lookin’ sleek in your snow gear!
Sick of basic black? Up the style ante with a cute geo print and a
faux fur hood. Add a colorful hat to play off the confetti that makes
this cozy coat a winner. And, P.S., we love online outlets for pricey
pieces, like winter coats. Just check into their return policy before
you click “purchase.”
Filled with down feathers, this jacket will give
you warmth without the bulk (it weighs less than a pound!). The trick
to making big jackets look less boxy is to find stitching that’s made
for feminine figures or a cinched waist. Snowball fight, anyone?
Trend alert! Why not try out the ultra-hot military trend out on the slopes? This snappy coat will be your new ski uniform. Plus, it has tons of keep-you-warm features. Of course, you’ll look fab when you’re snagging a hot cocoa on a break.
Want that sporty style, but not hittin’ the slopes? Go for a puffer
vest! These are perfect to throw on over a sweater or a long-sleeve tee
on days when it’s just a bit chilly. Add a metallic belt on the outside
of your puffer to make it extra cute.
PLUS! Add some great, girly accessories to your winter wonderland wardrobe.

I’m going to a speech tournament and I have to dress up. It has to be formal and no jeans are allowed. How can I look more sophisticated and smart? I need some makeup tips, too.
Hey, girl! Good luck in the tourney. We’ve got a couple of awesome options for ya. They’re formal, but not too grown up or stuffy.
Option #1: The New Romantic
A lace top, A-line skirt and a fuzzy cardi look super-sweet. Wear some tights and a pair of retro-inspired booties.
Want a super-trendy (and way sophisticated) skirt option? Try one with a peplum top.
Option #2 Prettied-up Pants
A top with tuxedo ruffles puts a girly spin on dress pants. Try on a classic jacket and add dark, funky flats to liven it up.
Too dramatic? Opt for a jewel-toned cardi.
Makeup
Since you’re gonna be in situation where people are listening to what you have to say, you don’t wanna distract them with bright eye shadow and glitzy glitter.
On your eyes
If you’re going for a more formal, professional look, keep your eyes natural. You want people to see you when they are watching you, not your make-up.
Since you already have some definition on your top lids, choose a soft, neutral brown shadow.
Keep lips moisturized (but not over-glossed!) by swiping on your fave balm. Oh, and don’t forget to get rid of chipped nail polish!

What do you get when you cross jeans with leggings? Jeggings, aka, comfiest spin on denim ever.
Whether you want a cute, casual outfit for school or something sassy for a night out with your BFFs, we’ve got three sweet ways to wear these jeggings this season.
Darker jeggings create a more flattering look—perfect for any body type. We like how this pair can be cuffed or left long ‘n’ lean—fab for tucking into boots!
Animal Instinct
For a night out, rock ‘em with a wild animal print. Since the leggings are slim-fitting, try a loose bubble tank. Complete the look with a long, simple necklace or pendant and add a cocoon sweater to stay warm. Throw on a pair of black ankle boots or metallic flats and you’re set!
Cozy ‘n’ Casual
A button-down flannel is comfy for hitting the halls or an outdoorsy fall adventure. Add suede boots or moccasins and an infinity scarf to keep you extra snug. Hello, new school uniform.
Borrowed from My BF
We like oversized, v-neck cardigans with jeggings the best. You could totally wear it to class or out to dinner with your fam. Add some homemade jewelry to play up the art school vibe of the cardi.

How do you wear harem pants without looking like you rolled into homeroom in your jammies? Sport 'em with a sash for a dash of something demure. Pull off a punky look in a graphic tee and flats or dress it up in a frilly blouse and heels.
Pretty 'n' printed pullovers
Say sayonara to your old-school sweatshirt. Zany zip-ups are the perf topper to any outfit—they won’t muss up your coif and you can easily take ‘em on and off when it gets a li’l chilly. Our fave hoodies get you noticed with bright hues and bold patterns.
Laid-back blazers
Think you can’t stay relaxed and wear lace? Puh-lease. This fuzzy blazer’s frilly details make it look downright feminine. Wear with black leggings for the ultimate comfy-chic combo.
Snazzed-up sweats
Couldn’t forget classic sweatpants, could we? Pick up a pair in a presh color to prett-ify your outfit. Roll ‘em up and wear them with a comfy concert tee and your chucks!
