Hey Justine.Ross16, no worries you're not the only girl to feel like this. The thing to remember is that it's just kissing and there is no right or wrong way. When you're in the mood and comfortable with the one you're kissing everything will fall into place. You will find what works and doesn't. MOD!! So, I've never EVER been kissed and I'm about to turn 17.... Me and my boyfriend have been going out for two years and he means the world to me. The problem? I REALLY want him to kiss me for my birthday, but he's a REALLY shy guy, I know he wants to kiss me and we tease about it all the time, but he's too shy to actually do it. Hey girl! Congrats on turing 17!! If you want your BF to give you a kiss on your birthday just tell him. Even though he is shy he is still a boy, and I am sure is dying to kiss you too. Just tell him straight forward what you want and see if he follows through. If not be bold and just go for it yourself. You may not think it is but it is very cute when a girl makes the first move.

Hey chica,

I would have a heart-to-heart with your bestie about why she almost did that. Tell her that her actions hurt you and you were upset by it. If she keeps flirting with him in the future or trying to make a move on him, you might want to reconsider your friendship with her. I don't think your BF was at any fault here, unless he was flirting with her or didn't push away when she tired to kiss him, but just keep an eye out for any behavior that would make you want to reconsider the relationship.

In order to have the best kind of relationship, you should also be able to talk in person and one the phone in addition to texting. Planning a kiss isn't horrible, but it's fun to have spontaneous kisses and it should be an expression of your feelings toward him rather than something that you plan ahead of time.

You have to do what you feel is right! You wouldn't really want to kiss him, then have to break it to him that it can't go any further because you can't date, right? But then again, if he goes in for the kiss, it would be awkward to push him away and then tell him why. Personally, I would go with the flow and do what I feel in the situation. {That means never doing what you don't feel comfortable with - if thinking about kissing him gives you a weird feeling inside, you DON'T have to do it!} As for kissing itself, the best kisses are the ones that are natural and don't have too much thought/planning behind them. Read these tips and then just relax - let it happen naturally!

To all you Never-been-Kissed, I haven 't either. I'm 16. This past school year was the first year that I came out of my shell and was actually able to talk to guys. Once that happened, BAM! It really is a lot easier than you would think. In my experience with guy friends, a lot of them would rather have a good friend that is a girl than want some chick that's always flirting with him and other guys.

For flirting make eye contact and touch his arm when you talk to him. Don't worry so much about thinking so far ahead. Once when I was in fifth grade (young i kno)and I was at the park with my friend and her two brothers. I had a major crush on her one brother who is two years older than me. So we were playing truth or dare and her younger brother dared me to kiss his older brother. i blushed and said we should play hide and go seek instead and my crush said he would be it. Then he came up to me and told me where to hide. I shrugged, thinking nothing of it and hid where he told me to. hen he came over to where I was, grabbed me by the shoulders, closed his eyes, leaned in... and then I looked down so he ended up kissing my forehead.
Right then and there, I realized I wasn't ready for kissing and he was too old for me. When the time comes, my first kiss will be magical.

Hey girl, I think to kiss or not to kiss is very much a personal decision.  Don't feel rushed - if you're not sure, then it might be best to just wait.  You want to be completely comfortable before you move on to the next step of your relationship.

MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!! All of the boyfriends I have had lately are long distance relationships!! No guys like me in my town(I live in a small town), and I dont like anyone here. All the ones in my grade or about the same age group, are the same, all they want is some love if you get the drift...... and the others dont date, and they are kinda strange.... But idk y, It makes me feel so ugly that no guys like me. I'm different from other girls, I have what most people would call scene hair, and the style of scene, and Im not gunna change for anyone! but I feel so lonely. and the thing with the long distance relationships is that i cant even be with them! I know this probably sounds desperate, but I want someone to hug, hold my hand, and maybe even kiss! I have never held a guys hand or kissed anyone. I have tried to do different activities, but I know everyone so its no use, I cant meet anyone new!! Please help!!!




Hey girlie, It can be really tough to be in a long distance relationship. I think that if you like the person you're dating long distance, though, it can be totally worth it. I definitely don't think you should change yourself for any guy in your town, but that might also mean that you'll have to wait until they're mature enough to accept someone who's a little "different" from other people.

Ok. I'm going to be a little honest here. If you're eleven, twelve, or even thirteen, DO NOT RUSH THE KISSING!!!!! I personally think you're too young to worry about that. I tell my cousin this all the time. You can take you're time. You don't have to grow up so fast. Let's just say it's been a while since I was eleven, or twelve, or even thirteen. I have never been kissed. All of my friends have. Sometimes it's hard when everyone else has and you haven't. But I'm holding out for the right guy to share something so special and so meaningful with. You all should too. It's kind of ridiculous to be like ten and say you need your first kiss. Braces make things a bit trickier {just try not to bump teeth!}, but it won't make your first kiss with your guy less special Smile but my best advice is going to be a little hard to follow: be patient.  Don't go into the date trying to force the kiss - instead, just let the date progress and let the kiss happen naturally.  Give your date signs that you're into him - touch him while you talk, compliment him, flirt - but other than that, don't go too kiss-crazy!

During the day at school right after lunch I have orchestra and he has choir, which is right across the hall from the orchestra room. He always eats lunch really fast so he can go into the choir room early to play the piano. So I did that one day and started talking to him. Then we both started going into there early every day before our classes started so we could talk. This went on for a couple a weeks. I was starting to think he liked me back, so the day before Christmas break, I asked him what he was doing over the break and suggested that we should hang out some time. Well, he never called, and when we got back from break he didn't come into the choir room early anymore, and hasn't really said much to me since before break. so i really like this guy. he is really nice to me and we have a few classes together. we sit together in science class and always talk. we used to sit together in math, but we changed seats. we used to talk all the time then too. and last week (friday the 15) we had the Dance Finals for PE and we danced together (2wice!) and talked both times. i can't tell if he likes me or not. we are always laughing and stuff, and its not akward. just, natural. i am too shy to ask him out or anything like that and there isn't a reason too (no upcoming dances or events or stuff)

This sounds stupid even as I write it but I need help! I've never been kissed (or had a BF or anything) and I'm 18...as in just left UK school. The whole way through school (I was at the same one the whole way through) I was never the girl that guys saw that way, I wasn't a tomboy and I didn't have any BGFs, they just didn't seem to notice me.

Next time you talk to your crush, why not suggest he get his friends together and you get your friends together to all go out to a movie or something? There is absolutely nothing wrong with you! some girls are more into guys than others and that's okay for them too. It's great that you're not fixating on falling in love and getting married at your age. You're still young - it should be all about fun when you're a teenager! Everybody has their first kiss at a different time that doesn't necessarily have to with how attractive or outgoing they are. One of my friends wasn't kissed until she was 22 (even though she was a model and a smart, nice, funny girl!) because she was waiting for the right guy. If you're not feeling all guy crazy right now, don't force it. There's nothing wrong with being who you are.

Well, first of all this whole kissing thing is completely up to you!  I would only do it if you feel comfortable with it!  Every girl wants their first kiss to be special so if this is not the boy, situation, or set-up you were looking for then don't settle!  You shouldn't have to kiss someone just because of a dare so make your OWN decision!  Hope it all works out!

Kissing is so much fun, just make sure you their isnt to much wetness and you know how to move your tongue. When I kiss boys and they dont know how to kiss it isnt as fun but some of them learn pretty fast.

MOD! There's this guy who went to my school last year. He had to transfer and I havne't seen him since. We've only texted eachother and talked on MySpace once since last June. I really liked him last year and everyone says he liked me back. We were both jus too afraid to admit it. We used to flirt all the time, but now we hardly even talk. ok soo theres this guy and i hav the biggest crush on him. ive seen him before in groups and we teext and im eachother. hes the sweetest guy and everyone loves him and he likes me!! but ive nver officially met him. im meeting him friday at a sub shop and i really think it wud be cuute if we kissed becuz ive always wanted to kiss someone on a first date. the only problem is that we're going in a group and i dont wanna kiss in front of my friends. theres a tiny hallway where the bathrooms are and if he goes down there, im totally gonna follow him and kiss him. so my question is: what should i say before i kiss him? should i be like "i just have to say ur the nicest guy i hav EVER met" and then kiss him and go bak to the table or what?      Although girls have a tendency of wanting to plan everything out, a first kiss is totally hard to plan.  You have to see the vibe your getting from him when you actually meet and if the chemistry is completely there.  If you feel comfortable and think that there is a complete connection, then the kiss will just happen naturally.  If you want to express to him what you think of him before hand, telling him he's nice is def a good way to go without being too much!

i was wondering... since it's possible i might kiss a guy sometime, should you not kiss someone if you have braces? cuz i have top and bottom and i really dont want the guy to like get hurt lol Smile also, there's this guy i really like, but he's taken. i didn't know he was actually going out with someone until like two weeks ago! Well it's good that you see their point of view, and even agree!  Try speaking with them and let them know you understand they're worried, but that you do agree with them.  They may not fully be aware of your feelings, or just have a lot of fears as, just talk to them.
