A lot of us struggle with this so you arent the only one. Its kind of easy to find and often you end up wanting to look at it more, so it becomes addicting. Maybe the best thing is to try to get your mind on something else because I have noticed just thinking about guys and kissing can give me fantasies and then I end up often looking at it. I think we go through these phases where we want to watch it more at certain times and want to watch different kinds because we are curious and because we are at the age when we think about these things. The guys on Glee said it right when they talked about girls watching porn and how it affects us because we can look at naked men anytime we want because of the internet. So the best way to stop or not watch it as much is to think about something else.

Not to make excuses but I think because of our age and the changes our bodies are going through many of us get hooked or used to watching it because we are curious and then find it interesting. Honestly I think there should be more resources to help girls stop if they want to because it can be addicting. At sleepovers we always had one girl would suggest looking at it and then you find yourself watching it in private. Plus a lot of the times we would watch Gay porn with just men and truthfully, even though my friends didnt think so, just like the article says I thought it was degrading to men because of what they were doing.

there is even stuff like this in anime fan fics. fortunaly i don't read them. but i know they exist and we nerds can get pretty perverted sometimes. they also can be really bizzar if you aren't a nerd and probably think it's extremly out there. I have been looking at it also, it was from curiosity at first because I heard people talking about it so I wanted to see for myself. And even though you don't want to, I understand the kind of sick hold it has on you, because I have been looking at porn also. I started about 2 months before I turned 13, then stopped a month afterwards, then started up again a month later, and I am proud to say that I haven't looked at porn for about 3 months now. I guess my message to you is to never give in, no matter how tempting. Just like the forbidden fruit. What helped me was finding some way to distract myself whenever I thought about it, like a boy I liked at the moment, or what homework I had that day. And by the way, it takes a lot of courage to admit things like this, and I bet a lot of girls look up to you because of it.

I did that alot. When my parents werent home, I would go on Yahoo! and look 4 "boobs" and all these porn sites would pop up. :-[...... That's good that you want to stop, since porn can turn people all around. I've been curious about it before, but I've never looked at it since you have to be at least 18 and it's illegal. wow sopranosinger thats awsome that you can do that for your friend. i had a friend give bone marrow to his sister who has cancer. evrythibng went absoluetly perfect. and it realllllyyyy helped his sis. she was able to get up and had like color in her cheecks and stuff and it was right before her birthday too. just remind your parents that if things were reversed, you know they would want your friend to able to help you. good luck! btw... isnt it like illegal to look up porn? idk hope i helped <33

Miss_Star, no i deff don't think that would be considered *copying her, because hollister and abercrombie and fitch are MAJOR stores for teens..that sounds weird but its true almost everyone i know shops there every once in a while..lol but stay true to you!! its ok to like those stores but don't just like them because all the popular kids wear them, wear them because YOU want to..not because everyone does (because its not very kool if you always have the same outfit on as someone else...so make sure you shop everywhere not just those two stores ;] ) and as of your second concern no i don't exactly come from a rich family either but don't worry you can still shop there even if you don't have credit cards with the sky as the limit, these stores do have clearance sections..and by clearance i don't mean old stuff with like stains on them and things like that. hollister and abercrombie are trend setting stores or trend following stores but whatever you wanna call them their clothing selection changes Very often, so everytime it changes the *new things from a week ago go on clearance so they can make room for the newEST items.(..get it?) i live in a pretty small town and the mall i go to is like 15 mins away and it doesn't have an abercrombie and fitch but it does have a hollister and since its a small city even tho everyone chops there are still a lot of cute things on clearance. (i've gotten tanks there before that were $6.70 a piece) and you can babysit, mow lawns, tidy up for neighbors, rake leaves, shovel snow, plant flowers, take care of your neighbors pets or garden or whatever when they are out of town random things like that you could even have a car wash in your front lawn if you really want to or a garage sale. be creative!! i hope i helped!! many <3's, tje728

hey don't worry about it. the best thing to do is tell your parents about what is going on with you and these websites. i had the same problem and couldn't take it anymore. it may help to see a therapist or counselor. my therapist helped me so much and showed me a method of blocking those things from my mind. my family still loves me for who i am.

I'd start crying and eventually they gave me the talk and i felt SO MUCH BETTER when they put the parental controls. it hurt me so much that i thought about suicide till my sister talked to me. I had this problem...then my mom found out about it (terrible) and so I stopped...then recently my parents were in the Christian store one day and they got me two magazines; Teen Virtue and His Girl, and they explained what sexual purity was and what it meant and stuff like that...it isn't just practicing abstinence, it's also keeping your mind, thoughts, soul, and heart pure and clean too, because God wants us only to do that with our spouse. So I am doing purity and it is much easier to stop the habbit when you are doing that...I want to get a purity ring too...I found one on the internet and its really pretty but I don't know if they website is reliable and it is over $200...sorry if anyone on here isn't Christian but I am and I just wanted to share all that...(freedom of religion!)...kudos to those who are though! -cheerleader2478

Its not ok but I used to look at it to once I got caught and just ask your mom to put up a filter so that those things you won't be allowed to look at. Don't worry i had the same problem and this is my solution

I stumbled across porn once. I was curious...So, I looked at it a few more times. I don't do it anymore. And I now find it unappealing and degrading. I hope you can drop the habit. You'll be better of without it. It's not a good thing to immerse yourself in. :3

I have another problem...So the thing is, my BF was diagnosed with a certain type of leukemia, a rare one, APL. He needs blood platelets, and the only type of people who can give him platelets are the people who match his six proteins EXACTLY. Well, his brother tested negative, his parents tested negative. If he doesn't get those platelets, it's guaranteed that he'll die. So my parents had let me get tested last week (they thought it'd be useless anyways). I got the results today. And I'm a perfect match. I can give him anything, from platelets, to bone marrow, to my own kidney. How strange is that, right? Anyways, I want to give him platelets, but my parents are really scared about it. What should I do to convince them? They're not exactly forbidding me to do it, they're just skeptic. I want to save his life. What do I do? What do I say?

Hey I had a friendship like you and M. Only it wasn't my fault, it was the girls who we hung out with she was mad at. She ended up going one way and I the other. We don't talk or hang out anymore, but I'll treasure our memories. And hey if things don't work out, it'll be okay. it's ok. tell yourself to go a day without looking. if you can do that then go a week soon go a whole month. I did have a thing with porn for a while. I finally got over it. I haven't told anyone about it. it's still deep deep down in my soul. no one will find out about it. you will soon get over this tiff. It's just plain curiosity!
