MODMODMOD how old should you start babysitting?

Hey girl, I'd say 13 or 14 but it all depends on the parents of the family you're babysitting for, your maturity and what they're comfy with.

Hey girl, tell her you want to babysit not just for a little more spending money but because you really like kids.

mod!
i am a certified babysitter since April.i havent had much buissness on my own.(usually with my friends).and i have posted flyers an did got a call but i had to say cuz it was my moms birthday party!but how do i get more clients?

I would ask your parents to see if they could ask their work friends, neighbors or other people they know. Since these people would know your parents, they'll probably be more likely to trust you to watch their kids. It can be tough for a parent to give a call to someone they don't know. However, I'm sure it helps that you're a certified babysitter! Good luck!

MOD MOD MOD how old do you have to be to babysit

Hey girl!  It really just depends on what the parent and the babysitter are comfortable with.  Some places offer babysitting training - for example, the Red Cross offers it for 11 to 15 year-olds.  xoxo

MODMODMODMOD Hey. I babysit my neighbors kids. They are a five year old, an 2 year old and a 6 month old baby. i dont get paid because theyre my neighbors and stuff which i get but i was them 3 times a week and when he does pay me. my mom takes it away because she thought i asked for it.grrr... also i want to babysit 1 of my bgf lil brothers but my mom wont let me unless we watch him at my house cause they live a few blocks away. shuld i ask if its alright if i ask if i can watch him at my house. and wat if she says no to it at my house but yes at her own. wat shuld i do. HELP

Hey girl! If you truly want to babysit him, then I'd ask if you can at your house. I don't see why his mom wouldn't go for that.. if your mom is home Smile

im 11 and i babysit 10 kids when i go to grandma house or when they visit my house its really hard my sister wont help me and the bad thing no one thanks me or give me something

Hey girl!

Babysitting always gets sticky when you're doing it for family. It would be a good idea to have a convo with your parents about your situation. Don't be whiny and demand that your grandmother pays you. Try telling them that you find babysitting 10 kids to be overwhelming, especially since your sister never helps you out. Be sure to say that you don't mind doing it, but you need to come up with a compromise that works for you and your fam.

Good luck!
