If you go to a store you can find a premade first aid kit that will have everything youll need. xoxo kerra

Mod! I have tried flyers and everything!!! I'm 13 and I've taken a Red cross CPR and first aid class...(it says on the flyers too) but I'm not getting anything from it! help!! how can I get people to babysit for??

 

Hey chica, I would check in the newspaper each week, in the classifieds section to see if anyone is looking for a babysitter. Also, you could take a walk in your neighborhood and go knock on the doors of houses that you think would have kids (like ones with toys outside). Introduce yourself to the parents and give them a flyer with your contact into.

I babysit for the same family every Sunday for the next 4 weeks, from about 6:30 to about 10:00. The kids are already fed, all I do is put them to bed. They youngest goes to bed at 8, so I start getting her ready at 7:45, what are some fun things to do before that? please don"t send a link, actual idea's of yours/things you have used would be great! Also help from girls on the site would be great too! Thanks!




Hey girl, have the kids show you their favorite toys, games, books and stuff.  Little kids have no problem talking so just listening to them may be enough time haha!  But then offer to read them a book (or part of one) or play a game.

MOD MOD MOD!!! Also, I have another question. Hehe It's perfectly fine if you don't feel COMPELTELY comfortable answering this, I'm just looking for suggestions. My friend and I (we play guitar together and sing a lot) were just asked to perform at a wedding in September. The thing is, it would be a PAID performance, and they are asking how much we charge. It is a low-budget wedding with lots of monetary problems going on in that family (the parents aren't helping pay at all, the lady that is getting married has taken in two kids that aren't hers bc their mother died of cancer at age 23) so they are short on cash. I don't want to charge a lot because of that fact, so do you have some suggestions of reasonable prices? Thank you so much!

Hey girlie, I think how much you charge depends on a lot of things like how long you're playing for, how much experience you have, and what type of wedding it is. I think it's also good that you're taking into account the financial situation of the couple. I don't really know exactly how much you should charge, but you could ask them what price range they had in mind to pay to get an idea of how much you should ask, or ask other people who have played at weddings how much they charged!

Hello! I have a question Is there another way for a 14-year-old to get money? I mean other than babysitting and mowing lawns and stuff like that. I really want to save up some money for a new guitar. One of my best friends and I play guitar together a lot and sing (we are actually really good if I do say so myself, we have been asked to play at our church and lead songs and play at house blessings and weddings!!) but I don't know how I could arrange to do shows and get PAID.....or if you can suggest a completely different way to get money, that would be great Also, I'm not really looking for an EMPLOYED job (say, at McDonald's or something) I'm just looking for a way that could get me some cash without having too many set hours that I HAVE to work. Thank you so much!

MOD MOD MOD! i posted this a few days ago but it didnt sho up. the babysitting classes in my town are always canceled because barely anyone signs up and i was wondering if a cpr/first aid class would be ok. thanks!
