Please help! Im 14 years old and ive only had my period once and im on my second one but i live with my grandmother. And i asked her if i could use tampons cuz soccer starts next month, plus i dont like pads AT ALL!! But she said whatever, it takes a long time to get used to them and learn how to use them but whatever- but she never got them so i asked her again saying i would like to wear skinny jeans tomarrow and she said she doesnt care. I really hate pads but she is being very stubborn! can you help? do you have any ideas on how i can convince her to let me use tampons without her getting annoyed? thanks in advance! <3

 

Hey girlie, she's told you she doesn't care so go to the store with her and put some tampons in the cart. If she's not telling you no then you just have to make sure that someone buys them so you can use them.

hi! im 14 and i really want to start using tampons because i hate pads, its summer, and im going to take ice skating lessons! im just nervous to ask my mom . I no what im going to say, but i dont no exactly WHERE AND WHEN to ask her? please help!!! thx!

 

hey! why don't you go to the drug store with her? If you don't normally do that, ask to go with her one day, then when you're there, point out the tampons or grab a box and see what she says. She may not ask about it, but if she does you can just say pads aren't comfortable to you. good luck!

I really want to wear tampons, I brought it up to my mom about it before but she said they r gross. A girl in my class wears it and she seems perfectly fine and another one of my best friends wears it. I really really want to wear them mainly for swimming. The only thing I'm worried about is if they hurt and give me a desease. Can you please help me?

What would you personally say are your favorite brand of tampons pads and liners? I know everyones preference is different but what do you prefer?

 

 

Hey girl. I like OB for tampons. They don't have an applicator, which some gals don't like, but I never get leaks! I use lightdays for liners. I'm not particular about pads, but I usually use Always with wings.

Girls don't worry i'm 14 and got mine 5 months ago..and i wanted to go to a bunch of pool parties but i'm too scared.. i haven't asked my mom either..but honestly i'm fin with pads although they can be uncomfortable they are fine!

I told my mom I wanted to go swimming eventhough I was on my period. She said that i wouldnt want to use tampon because they can get lost inside of you. How do I get her to let me use tampons

My mom has never used a tampon in her life, and never will. I don't think she will let me because when ever we get to the subject she says it must feel weird to have a tampon there... How do I persuade her to let me wear a tampon?!?!?

 

Tell her that to you, wearing a pad feels weird and uncomfortable and you think you would feel better using a tampon and remind her that different people have different preferences.  As long as all the options are safe, it doesn't make much of a difference.

MOD MOD MOD MOD! ok so i have been getting discharge for about 10 months now and for the past two weeks i have had some really bad acne on my nose and cheeks. is it weird that i want to have my period. ever since 5th grade when the school nurse talked to us about our period i have wanted it to happen! is that weird?? thanks for answering and taking time from your day!

i just got my period this year im only 12 and have had it forl ike only 4 months and summer is comming and i stlil wanta go swimiming but can i still go with out wearing a tampon and can i were a pad swimming ? ? ? PLEASE HELP
