Hey girl! Get a group of pals together (whether at your house or someone else's) and hang outdoors, catch up on each other's lives, and eat lots of yummy BBQ. If there's a pool you could go to, you guys could also hang out there. You could also check out your local newspaper and see if any parades, festivals, or any other activities are going on in your town or nearby today. Whatever you do, make sure to enjoy being with friends and being outdoors (if it's nice!)

Ok so there is this guy named Hayden who is like my older brother. he is 13. he has seven other siblings, and all but two are girls. My moms best friend said her son and his friends saw Hayden, and his older brother doing drugs, and my mom forbid me to ever hang out with hayden and his siblings ever again, but it is not true! I lvoe hayden he is like my brother, and i know he would never do drugs! he is the sweetest, nicest, most quiet person in the world, and he would never do drugs! but ive been thinking about it a lot now, and im starting to doubt him.... which makes me feel really bad cuz i lvoe him so much, and shouldnt doubt him, but i do. what do i do???? i asked him if he did it, or ever would and he said, u know me and u know i would never do that. please help i really really want to see him and his brothers! and i am almost positive that rumor isnt true! he would tell me im sure if he did do it. but he just isnt like that! please please please help me!! You can't make your parents change their minds but you can stick up for your friend to them and tell them you hope they change their minds about him. Remind them how responsible and trustworthy he is, be mature, and tell them that you know they're trying to protect you and that you respect and appreciate their decision. The best way to motivate yourself is to set a lot of small goals so you feel like you're achieving something all the time. Try running a little bit farther every day but make sure you take some days off just to talk or do some flexibility training so your muscles have time to build up. Good luck

MOD- I posted this question yesterday, but it never showed up. So do you think you could try answering it please?? It's really important.
Ever since the middle of the past school year, I haven't been invited anywhere by my "friends." I got into one fight with one of those girls, but I thought that it wouldn't matter to anyone else, because it didn't concern them. At a sleepover last week with these girls, some people said they were sorry for making me feel so bad and that they wouldn't do it again. So I thought that would mean that I'd start to be invited to places with them again. But everytime I ask one of the girls to hang out, she's always busy with the other girls. I know this because they put the pictures on facebook everytime that they do something. And I don't know how to tell anybody this because at the sleepover, everyone said there was no more drama, and that everything was fine. I thought it would be fine, but I guess it isn't. How do I bring this up without sounding like I'm causing more drama? I'd hang out with them less, but my two other best friends are away for the whole summer. PLEASEEE ANSWER THIS!!! THANK YOU!!!




Hey girl! It sounds like you might want to avoid these gals - they might not be your true friends. Try hanging out with other girls this summer. Like, is there someone in your math class you got to know during the school year that you wish you could hang out with more? You know what I mean? This could be a great opportunity to get to know other girls in your class more by asking to hang out with them!

Hey girl! I would say Crest white strips are your best bet when it comes to quality and price. However, if they're a bit too pricey for you, I would check out the toothpaste aisle in your local drugstore for similar products for a smaller price. I would also suggest using a whitening toothpaste and/or mouthwash every time your brush.

Thanx Katy J, but I'm missing out on like the only time I get to see my crush this summer and I'm missing the fireworks and parade. We're only visiting old people and hanging out with my dad's family. I'm only going to want to hang out with my aunt 'cuz she's really kewl. She's ringing me to the american idol concert. I really don't want to go and we're leaving tonite so I won't be able to stay with a friend. Another friend that lives in the town over invited me to her town's fireworks. I think I'm going to be able to go because it's next weekend, but I'm so mad!!




Hey girl! I don't blame you for being frustrated - I would probably feel the same way. Like I said, you can try talking to your 'rents about staying home with a friend, but again, I have a feeling they're hoping for fam time. If you really want to see your crush, you can try to find another opportunity later in the summer. For example, you could try getting a bunch of people together for a DVD night at yours (or someone else's) house. Doing something in a big group would be a great chance to hang with your crush in a way that isn't just one-on-one just the two of ya.

Hey girl! I understand that it's tough going away for the 4th - esp. when it feels like everyone's staying here so it feels like all of the fun it going on back home. You could try talking to your parents about staying back home with a friend, however, chances are they're gonna want to stick together as a fam. for the 4th. Think of this as time to bond as fam, and you'll see your friends when you get back. And who knows? You might have more fun than you think : )
