Hey babe,


Paint is a great way to completely change your room, though I'm not sure you could get all the paint you need with just ten dollars. You can try painting just one or two bright stripes around the room to spice things up!

I really wish I could rearrange my room, but my room is exactly square, and I have a dresser, another tall dresser w/o a mirror, a desk, a bedside table, a chair and a standing lamp. My room is small, and this is the only way that it seems to fit. How do I get my room to look a lot cooler without having to have my room seem cramped?







Hey girl, if you're room's a square, try rearranging your room by shifting everything in one direction. It may sound like nothing really changed, but trust me. When you do it, it's gonna feel totally different. <3 Jeannie

Hey, I've already answered the first part so check back on other pages where that might be. Homecoming dances will have chaperones so you probably won't be able to kiss in front of everyone for a long time but I'm sure you could sneak a peck or two in there.

Hey babe,

As a fellow slob, I can only tell you that you have to just suck it up and do it. Even if you start with one corner or section and do another one each day, it won't get done unless you get started on it. It's much easier to keep it clean once it gets there once, but that first time will be tough. Look at it as a fun way to go through stuff you may have forgotten you had and that might make it easier. Get your sister to help out and listen to your favorite songs to keep up your morale. Once it gets done you'll be soooo glad!

As for your Walmart question, they have a lot of great, cheap fabric that you can do practically anything with! There are some ideas for stuff like that in our crafts section or I bet you could ask the person working there. He or she might have some great ideas.

Make sure you are setting aside space for the various necessery objects a room must have.  Organize your clothes in specific drawers and prepare important papers or keepsakes in folders and such!  Put them away in places YOU'LL remember and that will be out of the way for you and your family!

This is so weird. I just spent the whole day rearranging my room. I moved my computer desk and brought in a dresser that I had to have for a dance routine last spring and hung up some pictures that I have had for a while. My room looks great. Now if only we could re upholster the drawers on my dresser (not that into zebra print)and hang up the paper lantern and some posters that I have...

I just got my own room about 2 yrs ago and have all the furniture arranged the way i want it- it i wanted to move anything- i wouldnt be able to cuz everything's 2 heavy- about the only thing i can move by myself is my bookcase with all the books out!

Ooh, I'm making this bulletin board collage out of a whole bunch of random pics, movie tickets, magazine pages, postcards... pretty much anything, and then I'm gonna make magnets (it's gonna be magnetic) out of random stuff, and I'll hang stuff on it. MOD MOD MOD!!! Ok, so I REALLY want to rearrange my room, but my mom won't let me! I have really good ideas that could freshen it up for summer, but she doesn't want me to rearrange it still. Last Christmas my mom and stepdad did a make-over to my room while my brother and I were visiting our dad. I think that's why she doesn't want me to rearrange it. But I'm not going to change the covers, sheets, or wallpaper. I just want to move stuff around. How do I convince my mom that it would be fun to rearrange my room?! MOD MOD MOD!!!

I rearrange my room so much my parents think I am crazy. I am always asking my dad to help me move my furniture and he helps but he isnt happy about it. Those are all great ideas,so now you have got me thinking again. I dont know, maybe I just get bored too easy.

my room is awesome already!! but good ideas!! it really is fun to rearange your room. if you are looking for some new furniture go to a goodwill store, flea market or yard sale. you can always find things really cheap and with a fresh coat of paint they will look amazing!!!

LOVE IT! I am doing my room now. I put my bed diagonal in the corner and I getting rid of all the Disney Princess stuff from when I was five (YAY!!!) And my 'rents are buying me a new bedspread!
