That is sooooo sad! It makes me think how lucky i am to be alive and not going through or at her point,... where she is now. And all of you who think she is stupid-- maybe she was a bit dumb for making that mistake but everyone makes mistakes and god, that mistake shouldn't have taken her life! i mean, people joke about it all the time: "imma kill you" and "if you do i will kill you" but it's a LIFE, once youre gone, you're gone. Not to make everyone all gloomy but Hope is just one of many many many people who have suffered through this. I knew somebody who's best friend that sent a very graphic pic to her BF's friend(dunno why, but whatevs) and he ended up accidentally choking her while he was forcing her to have sex. I mean, these people don't deserve to go to hell, but they def don't deserve to take someone's life!!!!! I mean these people-- HOPE had a family, she had friends, brothers, sisters, cousins, GRANDPARENTS who <3 loved <3 her and still do. Why would anyone take someone's life away from them?? That's the most important thing they have(at least for now)!!!!!

i've had suicidal thoughts and have gone to rehab for them,and am better now, but sexting is like not cool, and the fact people are comitting suicide for it is not cool. im anit-suicide, if you are felling suicidal, get help!! I have a club on GL thats called Fears vs. Dreams. it is for suicide prevention, and if you need help or advice, i can help you and support you to help you get through it!! stay strong!!

Why are you friends with them at all? That's a horrible thing. They don't deserve to be called friends or BFF's at all! They don't sound like good news to me A real friend would never do that, I'm sure... Anyway- I hope everything is ok now for you.

My bff once sexted my bf on my phone pretending to be me. Everyone in our class saw it and thought i sent it to my boyfriend. My other bff and I had to text and call him a million times until he believed that I didnt do it!!!!!! I hope that most people will not sext anyone to hurt people because it can spread fast.

LAst year in a town near where i live there was a case where a teacher was "sexting " a student . the teach got fired and the kid was expelled.

i know that this all sad and stuff, but hope was super dumb on this matter.
if she didn't know the guy why send him a pic of her? it doesnt make sense! some people commit suicide for things that they didnt cause, but hope TOTALLY set herself up for this.
but this is really upsetting she could have been someone useful in life, but she ended her own.

According to the link, her mom went to Hope's bedroom that evening to kiss her goodnight. That's when she found Hope hanging from from the canopy of her bed, a pink scarf tied around her neck. She was rushed to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
