i have a hugge problem. ok so i was going out with an abouslutly amazing guy untill yesterday but his parents made us break up since im 15 and hes turning 17 nextweek (a freshman& a junior) well my dad doesnt like him cause hes older and he just got permission today for us to start dating again cause i can be my whole complete self around him and i dont ever feel like hed pressure me to do anything cause hes told me and his parents he wouldnt. well my dad doesnt like him cause he thinks his parents still dont want us to date, and he doesnt know cause i just found this out when i probably shouldnt have had my phone. well hes mixed and im white and he keeps saying that id cause problems for us in the future even though i really really dont care at all and hes using the excuse that his parents dont want us to date as an excuse for not giving him a chance like he promised. well i really really really really like him but he said theres some law or somthinging in our state (illinois) that an 18 year old couldnt date a 16 year old. isnt that ok if we just like kiss and dont do anything else? also i need help on loosining my dad up cause hes got like some issues about him being a football player even though i know him and people have told me hes a great guy and not some stuck up guy trying to get some from as many girls as possible. pleaase help me. he means so much to me.

Hey girl! You should just explain everything to your parents and then maybe you guys can up with a compromise so that you can date him.
