GirlsLife.com - My Friends Are Going Too Far With Their BFs

Things do get confusing at our age. My mom and dad say I ask way to many question and spend to much time thinking about things but I think that is good. So to me there are 3 things that I wonder about.

Like one of my friends who is a little younger than I am is having sex and was put on birth control by her mom and her parents are fine with it. My mom and dad would never approve of that so I wonder why some people are so different about it? She makes great grades, so maybe thats it.

And then we kind of all want to blame guys about trying to take things to the next level but my friends and I talk about everything and some of them say they try to do that but there are some guys who arent interested in going any farther. To me that says not all guys are one way and only think about one thing.

And then a while back my mom made me watch this Oprah program with her about teens where they talked about sex and masturbating and how a lot of moms were buying things for us like massagers to help masturbate with and when my mom saw that said she would never do that. So it left me wondering how some moms are so open and some arent.

So, does anyone else ever wonder about why parents can be so different about guys and growing up?

All right, I desperately need some advice. My sister is 15 and has been going a little to far with boys. She does things I cringe at just thinking about! Her last relationship ended BADLY. Her now ex said he was going to get his friends to jump her and her friends (including me, the almost 13 year old.)The guy-I should say man- she is with now is 27! Thats almost twice her age! She sneaks out at like 3 in the morning to see him sometimes. She has been in his car (That SO bugs me!) and Im afraid he'll do something to her. Every night they're on the phone and sense we share the same room, I hear them and can never sleep. She knows how I feel, but doesn't care. What should I do- and don't say tell your parents because my sister and I are to close and I could never do that.

Hey chicky, it's never right to disrespect to your parents, so listen to your mom on this one and don't kiss him. If he really likes you, he'll respect your desicion to not kiss him. My friend has a purity ring and she ordered hers from offline. So search google for some purity rings sites.

Ok It is my opinion that people should wait till marriage to do any of this stuff.
God ordained it that that kind of stuff should only be shared with your spouse.
