I have had discharge for over three years now. How do I know when I will get my period? I have had all the signs but still no period. Please help!!!




Hey girl,  

Everyone's body is different. There are a variety of different things that come with puberty, and some may get their period before some stages while some may get it after — you never really know. Ask your doctor if you have questions.

You could be spotting. Not everyone gets cramps. I wouldn't worry, it is normal to get when going through puberty.

okay so lately my discharge has gone down a bit! but I have been getting cramps and it looks like I have been getting period pimples. is this my period coming or is there something wrong with me??

 

Hey girlie,

There is nothing wrong with you, based on what you've told me!  Discharge isn't always consistently heavy or light, so no worries on that one - it changes all the time.  Just keep a look-out for your period and I'm sure it'll come soon.  But don't be discouraged if it doesn't - I remember having a few "false alarms" before my first one came Smile it's all natural and you'll be fine!

Hi, ok this is going to sound pretty weird but since I am getting discharge I have no idea how I can tell if I got my period or if it's just discharge... what are the ways you can tell or feel the two apart?




Well for one your period will be blood and so it will look very different from just discharge. Also, you may have cramps. Check out this page: http://www.girlslife.com/hub/periods-period.aspx

Hey Girl, I'm sorry you're dealing with this but here's a link that will hopefully shed some insight on what's going on with you.
