How can I get guys to notice me? I'm not that popular at all and the specific guy I like sometimes talks to me.. But he has a GF who is like really mean, stuck up, and rude to other people except her friends. She isn't even that popular! But Please tell me how to get at least the guy I like to notice me or any other guys!!!




Hey girly,

All you have to do is smile and strike up a convo, and he'll definitely notice you. Try just saying hi and smiling, and then think of something to say like, "it's sooo hot outside, right?" or "i can't believe (the teacher) gave us so much homework! it's going to take forever!" Just saying anything will start a conversation, which will definitely get him to notice you. Good luck! x0x0

Haha I'm one of those girls that will get checked out and stared at wherever i go, the mall, the grocery store, even if i just go for a walk. Haha I love it because pretty much every guy at my school is like in love with me lol! But my mom freaks out and is like I DIDN'T LIKE HOW THAT BOY WAS LOOKING AT YOU and im like mom get over it i even told her that i get it all the time lol and she just rolled her eyes and walked away lol but I LOVE IT!!! Haha

My friends find it amusing when I tell them about things like that. I was at dance camp and a couple of guys kepy checking me out and then like 3 of them decided to whistle at me! Share your funny story. If they're actually good friends then they will just laugh along with you.

Hey babe,

Are the guys who are flirting with you known to be nice guys?  Or are you getting attention from "bad" boys, guys who are known to be mean to people, etc.?  Just try to figure that out first and you might be able to see their intentions more clearly.  We all go through that when a guy shows he's interested - we all have to try to figure out what he's after and if the attention is positive or not.  But make sure you don't miss out on anything because of your own body image.  If these guys are nice and actually want to get to know you better, don't push them away because you're worried about your "flaws."  They're seeing something really great about you that you should try to see too Smile

so, im pretty much confused beyond belief. i started talking to this guy, J, who i guess has a rep for being a player. but the more i talked to him, the more i liked him. my guy friends like told me he's no good for me, but i'm supposed to be the judge of that. anyways, he told me this big secret, and i told my guy friend Q and he told like everyone. so then J flipped on me and said we are never hanging out and he's done talking to me and all this stuff because i told Q. then he was gone like a week, but now he's back. we haven't talked, i tried to once but he pretty much ignored me. now everytime i see him in the halls it kills me and i don't know what to do to get him back. i need him back though. any suggestions? please!

ok, i moved here last year. i made some friends that i thought were really good. then i found out i was sucked into the world of total drama! heres how it started:
i was in a group of 8 girls, including me. there are more but these are the main girls. we would have sleepovers, talk about boys and all that normal stuff. but then i had some friends that would have sleepovers and talk about me and other girls in the group behind thier backs. the girls that were at that sleepover would tell us girls that were trashtalked about what happened, but the other girls that were trashtalking us would say they didnt.
this year im with a different group, but theres more girls in the gorup now, and everyones doing it to everyone. ive noticed even IM doing it. we even do it about girls in other groups. how do i stop being so mean? how are REAL friends supposed to act around you? how do i find better friends?




Hey girl, they are supposed to support you and be there for you. There seems to always be gossip, but it is better to try and not start trouble between everyone. You just have to see how people act and decide if they are trustworthy and contain qualities that you want in a friend.

If you really like this guy, and you think he really likes you back, you should probably let your friend know. It may be hard for you and her, but being honest is MUCH better than trying to sneak behind her back. For all you know, she may be totally over him and she won't care! To me, it sounds like you may be this boy's crush. But there isn't much you can do to find out until he tells you. You could see if he will tell any of your friends, or maybe just flirt with him a little, or spark up a convo and he'll see that you're interested too! This way, he may be less nervous to admit to you that he likes you.

Hey girl, I wouldn't go out of your way to make your boyfriend jealous. That's just unnecessarily cruel. What you can do, however, is just have a heart-to-heart about your relationship. Instead of waiting for him to make the unexpected move, why don't you? It might just set the example -- likewise with compliments. You'll find if you treat others the way you'd like to be treated, you'll get that treatment back.

I would definitely suggest talking with him in person, at a time when you two are alone.  That way, you can be clear about what you want to say without the confusion of the text or phone.  I would just let him know (kindly!) that you want to break up, and maybe clue him in a little as to why.  I know it won't be easy, so def reach out to your friends if you need some support going through it!  xoxo

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD Hi I am going to Washington D.C in a few weeks with my grade! The principal said we can wear some makeup and I really want to wear some, but I don't have any so I have to ask my mom, but I really don't want to. She's offered me some before, but I always said no (I've never really wanted to wear it before). I also asked her once, but then she said maybe someday. I was thinking of just buying some (just mascara, maybe eyeliner) when I go to Target or something. Or there is a bag of Victoria's Secret stuff she were going to give as a bday prez for my cousin(mascara and lotion) we got free but the bag has been torn by my dog, so I was just thinking of taking that. I would feel bad if my mom didn't know I took it or bought some, but it is a really awkward subject! What should I do?

ok so 2 things. 1. how do you deal with razor burn down there and 2. im fighting with one of my friends and we arent really friends anymore and she uninvited em to her bday party. well now the friends that are both our friends but lean towards me say that they dont want to go to her party. idk what to tell them to do. a little advice would be great




Hey girl! If you're uninvited there's nothing you can do, but not go. It's the other girls' choices whether or not they go or not. To deal with razor burn down there, try using baby powder, use a fresh blade each time you shave down there, and make sure you moisturize! (before, after, and during each shave!)

hey babe! You may not get it, but just to be prepared bring pads, panty liners and tampons just in case. Try asking your mom or a trusted female adult in your family for advice on using a tampon. They are completely safe when used properly.

Hey babe! They may just think you're annoying because you're younger than they are. It makes them feel tough or entitled because they're older. It may be because you talk a lot to them and they just want to be left alone. Try to ignore them, and not care what they think. It's best to just go on living however you like, having as much fun as you can, and if they don't want to be friends then that's their loss!

That is possible. I know I had to wear special ones when I was younger because my ears were so sensitive. You could ask your doctor about it.

Hey girl! Honestly, this is more an issue between Sherry and Sarah, so it's best that you stay out of it and let Sherry go about it in her own time and way. It's fine that you hang out with Sherry and that you enjoy her company, but if you get too involved, it will put you and Sarah on bad terms. there is this guy, Mason, That goes to my school. I am 12 years old (6th grade) and he is 14(8th grade). We have texted twice, But I txted him first. That was about two almost three weeks ago. Well he hasn't texted me, but I also told him I wasn't allowed to be texting him that I would delete the messages that we texted. Hey girl! Well, if you told him that you weren't allowed to be texting him, that could prob be the reason why he doesn't send messages your way. I would say to try to get to know him in person or you could chat with him online. I'm not really sure if he likes you - it seems like you guys don't know each other that well yet! Hey girl! Here are some tips for ya! Drink lots of water - it's important to stay hydrated! Stay warm when you're warming up - your muscles tend to be "cold" so it's important that you keep yourself warm when you're warming up (until your muscles get looser). Include a lot of fruits, grains and veggies in your diet. Invest in good running shoes - track shoes are def different from tennis shoes (ask the sales associates 'bout good running shoes!). Stretch carefully - warm up with dynamic stretches (jogging, etc.) but cool down by sitting down and stretching your legs. Hope this helps!

That last dream I had was nice... Me and my " dream guy as I would like to call him....were playing volleyball with a giant beach ball...It was weird though because the net was just taped to the wall...we were in a narrow, small like gymnasium...he was like and looked like exactly how I would want my boyfriend to be....brown hair...brown eyes...nice bod (;...looked like the athletic type...and he also seemed very sweet... honest...caring....sensitive, loyal, smart, funny....everything!!! one time, I had on a tight-ish tank top, and cute outfit right? and we were in the car, when this car with like, three guys (two backseat, 1 passenger) in it passed by. But the car was on my mom's side, like a lane away, merging farther away... ANYWAY: they were ALL pressed against the window, pointing, looking, practically gawking at me. They were even talking to each other.... and they were like 2 or 3 years older then me!! it was crAzy... They looked like morons anyway.

Okay, so I don't usually crush on a guy that easily. It takes me a while to develop a crush and its always with my guy friends, which makes it super awkward until it passes (which it usually does). Right now, I like my friend but the problem is that he's 15 months younger. Usually, even that wouldn't be such a big deal, but he's still in middle school and I'm in high school. Next year, he's coming to my school (he lives a town over, but got into a program at my school). Unfortunately, he has a girlfriend. It doesn't bug me too much, because I don't really want to say anything until he's at least a freshman, if even then. In addition, he's reported several short lasting relationships with girls, so there's always the possibility they'll break up by then. But it's like every time we talk or text r IM or see each other, I like him a little more! He gets along with my best friend, he's a bookworm (like me, which is SO hard to find a guy like), he likes some of the same music (which is usually hard ground for me to cover). Plus sometimes when we're talking, I feel like we're flirting without meaning to. His mom has even pulled him aside and jokingly reminded him that he has a girlfriend.
I just don't know what to do, because it's driving me nuts! Once we were hanging out and I got hurt - he texted me later asking how I felt. I disappeared for only twenty minutes at a party and he called me wondering where I had gone and telling em to hurry back. It's so aggravating, especially when he told me his response to his mom - that I was just a really good friend, nothing more than that. Is he TRYING to drive me insane? What should I do? Just wait it out? A lot of the time, I get crushes like this on my guy friends and they fade, but I'm not sure if this one will so quickly.




Hey, girl, maybe he doesn't realize what he is doing? If he does though, then he is toying with you. Maybe you should take a step back for a little bit and not flirt with him so much because in the long run, it seems to be hurting you. Good luck!

So I posted this the other day but it never got put on... So I figures I'd just repost it. (sorry this is so longgg) ok so I am homeschooled but I used 2 go to a Christian school an now I just play sports there. My older brother goes to school there and I am affiliated with alot of people at the school. Last summer, my brother started playing summer basketball with the team (he was on jv) the guy I likes (well call him Damon) dad is the varsity head coach. Damon has 2 older brothers who played bball with the varsity summer bball team. (they signed up for the same tournaments and leagues etc) so I saw Damon alot! I didn't like him over the summer but it did kinda help me get to know him and his family. He has a younger sister who is in my sisters grade and they got 2 b good friends.. Fast forward to January of this year. Damon found out I like him. I had started liking him in november and ppl started 2 find out I liked him in December. Anyways after damon found out evry1 in 7th and 8th grade found out shortly after. (cuz the school is so small pre k -12 r all in one building) I am rly outgoing but I like to keep that stuff personal and I was rly scared that damons family and my family would find out that I like him. So I started telling people I was over him. Which I wasn't but alot of ppl still think I like him. Damon still thinks I like him 2.. The biggest part is that both of our families don't believe in dating too young or even liking people at our age (were 13 he is almost 14) What do u think I should do???? Our brothers will be playing bball together again this summer so I will see him alot.. What should I tell him (like about me liking him) plz plz plz plz plz help me!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Girl, that sounds pretty tough. You could just play it off and pretend it didn't happen. If you don't bring it up at all, maybe no one else will think about it either. Or if you really want to talk to him and just explain that you didn't mean for anything to get out and you don't want him to feel awkward around you, etc.

Next time you're in this situation, remember me telling you this: BOYS ARE HUMAN.  They are!  They like to talk about the same stuff we do - stuff we know, stuff we like, stuff we care about.  They don't need to be entertained, so just take a deep breath and treat him like one of your friends.  Joking around is a great way to cut tension and make yourself relax.  But remember that boys, even though they can seem totally weird to us sometimes, are normal - nothing to be stressed out about!

Don't feel upset!  We can't possibly be there every single time our buds hang out - no sweat.  Since this seems like the first time it happened, I know you're feeling hurt ...but try not to let it bother you.  Just keep on being a sweet friend and, if you want to make sure you're included in stuff, try asking THEM to hang out!  If it happens again though, you can feel free to tell one of your friends or your cousin that it makes you feel bad.  Letting them know might make them realize that they did leave you out so they can change their behavior for the future Smile

Ok, so my mom, little sis, little brother,cousin and I want to go to Florida to visit some family over easter weekend. My dad has to stay home and work but he says its ok if we go IF we have somebody to take care of our puppy. Normally i'd have my BFF watch her but she cant beacause her school's spring break was cancelled. My mom REALLY wants to go, and I do too... But the only solution we've come up with is for somebody who wants to go to stay home... I feel like i should stay because i'm the only one who will volunteer number one, and number two i feel like i should let my mom do something she really wants to do since she lets me do stuff i want to do ALL the time. But i'm still said that i don't get to go visit my aunt. Any solutions?

That's totally cool of you to volunteer to stay home and take care of the pup.  It's good to know that she'll have someone to watch over her if things don't work out Smile so keep that as a plan B.  But don't give up yet!  Think about the people that you trust.  Do you have a relative close-by, like a cousin?  Are any of your older sibs looking for a job?  Offering a bit of cash really makes people more interested.  And think about the requirements too - does your BFF really have to be there ALL day long?  She could check in before school, then after school, then once before bed?  Just get creative and think of all the people you know - I'm sure you can find someone!
