MOD!!!! Is it bad to like one parent more than the other? I tend to like my dad more because I think that I'm more like him. but I feel bad because I love my mom. My second problem is that sometimes it kind of feels like if I be myself around her, then she'll make fun of me. Because her and my older brother laughed at me and told me I didn't know what I was talking about a bunch of times before just because I would disagree with them on something. This makes me really mad at my mom, but I don't want to fight with her, I just don't think it's fair the way she's treating me. And I tried talking to her about it, but she never took me seriously. What can I do?

 

I think even though girls love both their parents, it's normal to feel closer to one of them. Just because you like one parent better doesn't mean that you need to show your feelings or act any differently towards your two parents. As for the other question, I think you should try talking to your mom again about the problem and make sure you are completely grown-up and serious when you're talking to her. Don't do it in a fighting tone- be polite and respectful. Let her know that you really are serious about this and you don't like being laughed at. Let her know exactly how what she is doing makes you feel and hopefully she will start to understand.

Aww I'm so sorry. It's okay though. My parents split up when I was six. And I have had like eight stepdads already. Try to ask your dad if you can take a walk alone to talk about this. Don't let him take along anyone eles though. Your father will always love you and you have a special place in his heart. He just wants to get to know his new stepdaughter

I say u should have told her...because if she cared enough to see what was wrong then u should have said something....but if you are still getting used to having step-mom nd step-sisters then well....start out small nd work your way through....nd remember just have faith in your new mom!

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!!!!!!! People are callin me anorexic!! I weigh 65 pounds, and I'm 4"9'. I got checked by a doctor, and he said my weight was fine. It makes me mad that they are calling me anorexic. How can I convince them that I'm not anorexic? Or should I just gain more weight? Please Help!!!!

Mod mod mod I have another ? I'm still irregular period and literally like 4 cups a day the doc gave me meds it didn't work I don't wanna mention it much tho becuz don't wanna risk having to run screaming out of the docs cuz of an exam!!!! So that's not amn option or wat I'm asking I'm asking how to monimze leakage through my pants!!!! I use pads that's all I'm allowed but I have a stupid ? Why is it bad for your hymen to break b4 um doing it in life???




I suggest you change your pad often and youll be fine. As for the hymen question its not dangerous to have it break at any time. You cant even be sure when it actually does break. So dont be stressed about it. xoxo kerra

MOD!
Well it was only tonight that my mum and dad started arguing over the phone about when i was going to my dads.. ( they split up last year )
my dad has a new gf and a new baby on the way and stuff but sometimes when i get home from school i cry because my dad dosent seem like he pays much attention to me only when he wants me down at his house!
is there anyway to try and ease things slightly without causing too much drama?x

Hey babe, that's not easy to get in the middle of your parents argument.  Just remember: they both love and care about you, even if they may not be caring about one another.  It's not your responsibility as the daughter to solve and fix things.  Try talking to a student counselor at school or getting a trusted adult (family member or family friend) involved to try and help the situation.  Once your parents realize how immature they're acting, hopefully they'll change and put you FIRST.  Hang in there love, you're not alone.

*~*~*~MOD!!!*~*~*~ okay so my crush finaly asked me out so now we're bf/gf and all...it seems sometimes ther r awkward silences in our convos. we're both loud talkative people, but sometimes we run out of things2 say.. andy good convo topics tht wnt create a silence?

 

Hey girly, it's perfectly natural to have some awkward silences in the beginning of a relationship. It'll get better over time. If he likes sports, maybe ask him to explain something to you that you don't understand. Or, talk about a project at school. It'll get better, and more comfortable.
