How do I make a avatar and profile?!

 

Log in and go to "My Profile" and then just scroll down and there is a place to upload an avatar (I just found a picture from Google). Then if you scroll down, there are questions to answer for your profile. Then click "Save" and then your profile will have to be moderated.

Hi, I need some advice. I met this girl on Flickr, we are both into photography, and we started emailing. I am almost 110% positive she is who she says she is, but I feel like she wants to be best friends already and we havent even met in person (I am not planning on that at all JSYK). I want to be her friend but I want to be careful, in case she isn't who she says she is and I don;t want either of us to get hurt..
What should I do?

 

Hey girl, it's fine to talk to her online and stuff, just be careful about how much you tell her.  If she doesn't see anything wrong with giving her information out to people online that she doesn't know, you may want to warn her that you never know who you can trust.

Hey whats up!? So, I really want to be a writer and I think I would be a great addition to the GL team because I think I would be able to really help girls and write articles on things that matter most to them. For instance, I used tampons for the first time the other day and I could give girls another girl's opinion on it and how to relax, etc. Also, I just finished my freshman year of high school so I could write an article on that. One more example, I could write an article about fun stuff to do in summer; from things to make money on, to just having a blast with your BFF! Thing is, I'm only 15 and I don't live near the GL company. Is there anyway I could maybe write an article and send it to somebody that would perhaps put it on your site? Or maybe you could have like "A week with a GL fan" or something? What do you think? Thank you!! <3




Hey girl, the best way to write for GL is to get an internship, but you can def try contacting us directly about you wanting to write here (http://www.girlslife.com/Contact.aspx). We do occasionally take readers to do blog entries for the G-Blog too so keep your eyes open for opportunities like that.
