MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD i am havin a fight with my mom and i don't know wat to do. i don't lik talkiing or expressing my feelings to people or yelling into a pillow do u hav any ideas of other ways to express myself.

Mod!Mod! My parents don't treat me my age. A ton of people I know have facebook, cell phones, and real email addresses. I don't have any of these ( I have a kiddie email). I have told them I don't want to be treated this way, but my mom just said, "people your age don't need a facebook page!" I am very frusturated. How do I deal?

 

 

Hey chickadee, maybe suggest creating a facebook page together, with your folks. That way, they can see exactly what you put on there, and they won't be as concerned. They can have the password too so that they can go on and check to make sure everything is ok every now and then.

Today I was waiting to go down to my Math class today at school when Cheyenne, a girl I know from my math class walked by me. She actually sits next to me! I said "Hi Cheyenne!" and she screamed "Get AWAY from me, Sophia!" and just ran off! I also sat down on "her" chair during Computer classes and she pushed me out of the way! And when I told on her she got in trouble! I've tried talking to her about it, but shes to ignorant to listen. I'm really getting mad. I can't stand her! I told my mom and she said to just ignore her. My dad and 16 year old sister Briana (I'm 11) both said to tell a teacher but I don't like being known as a rat! I want to yell at her, but I really don't feel like starting problems. What should I do? Please help!

Hey girl, your sister and dad are right. Let a teacher know. Don't fight fire with fire and yell back; just stay calm and alert an adult who will straighten things out.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!!!!!! My parents don't get me!!! Even though they have known me forEVER, they don't seem to be able to get it when im mad or upset to leave me alone. My dad yells and screams and swears, and my mom swears and yells because of my dad!!!! I feel like im in a war zone. When I drop hints to my dad he spazzes, and then I try to tell them and they still don't get it(about any part of the issue!)! I try sooo hard to not yell and scream and hit them...but my dad makes it so hard on me. Its not that hes a bad father, but he doesn't get me, and he just yells and doesn't do anything. I lost a BFF today, and I feel like I can't confide in them because i KNOW they won't understand what should i DO!?!?!?!?!

 

 

Hey chica, you should never hit your parents, that's not right. You should sit your dad down when it's just the two of you and talk about it. Tell him that you don't like fighting, and make a pact for both of you to refrain from yelling. You have to understand that it's hard for parents to understand sometimes. After all, you're in two totally different parts of your lives. But, you should give them some credit for at least caring. You should talk to them about your BFF. They don't have to understand, they just have to listen, and let you vent.

my brother copies EVERYTHING i do!!!!!!! when i say everything i mean it! it like i dont have anything to myself no more! like i me and dad drink coffee he started to do that! and i record shows on the DVR, he started to record the same thing!! if i go some were he is of course going to come! i want things to myself!!! im so tired of it!!!!!!!!!!! if get song off line, guess who's going to get a song? my mom wont do anything about it!!! i recorded a movie on the TV i think it was mean girls, um he recored the same thing!!!! the stupid thing is..... HE IS OLDER THEN ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please help me. i cant do anything with out being copied!




hey! he's probably doing it to mess with you, so the best thing to do would be to ignore it. Sounds like you're more mature than him anyway. If you want alone time maybe get together at a friends house or take a relaxing walk to calm down. Good luck!

Ok, my mom will let watch pretty much any movie I want too, no matter what it's rated (there are some exceptions, of course)but when ever people are over she makes me go upstairs, like, the first time it cusses. It's super annoying. What should I do?




I suggest you talk to her about it! That will help you see where shes coming from and why she wants you to go upstairs during cussing. Plus she'll get to see your side of things. Good luck! xoxo kerra

MOD i started horseback riding lessons at the end of feburary and then stopped over the summer when it was really hot. They cost about $700 for 10 hours and i have 2 hours of lessons each week. My parents are asking me to pay for part of them and i made about $550 over summer but after paying for half of the first set i only have about $200 left for the next payment. How can i make some money while i'm still in school? (i can't get a part time job and i live in the country without a lot of people around) Thanks!

 

Maybe you could try having a yard sale — if there's a time when others in your area (if there are any) might be able to have one at the same time, so more people are drawn to your area. You could also look into babysitting: ask your parents if any of their co-workers or friends have kids that you could babysit. In addition, ask your parents if there are any chores that you can do in addition to any chores you already have to learn a little bit of extra money. i live in germany right now and i take the public transportation every where!! (In germany its not like only poor people take public transportation, EVREYBODY does. so they take care on their trains.) Anyways. maybe you could try taking buses places to your friends or car pool if your rents dont wanna drive you. juts dont give them an excuse to say no. ex: clean your room, have a way to get there and home from your friends. Smile
