plz help me! my 'friend' is really mean to me. she talks behind my back 24/7 to my other friends. I couldn't take it anymore so I told her i didn't wnat to have a friend that i couldn't trust. now all my other friends feel giulty when they hang out with her and i don't want them to feel like that. their parents notice how sad they are and they talked to my mom about the fight. now my mom wants me to forgive her and get back together with her. the thing is i can never trust her. she has always been mean to me and i can't stand being near her becuz she always talks about herself and is so self-centered! plz help

I'm getting really worried about one of my friends. I'm afraid she may have an eating disorder. She rarely eats at lunch saying she's not hungry, or has a lot of homework. I don't want her to starve herself! When her friend tried to talk to her about it, they got in a HUGE fight and didn't speak for months! How can I help her?

Hey girlie, I've never heard of that but it definitely wouldn't hurt anything to try it. Give it a shot and see if you notice any difference.

My "bff" took my bf, so now they both love each other, and whenever I buy something or like something, for clothes, and boys, she always has to like them, like it, or buy it like how I have it! OMG I'm so tired of it! This 7th grader I like i think likes me back, and she's upset cuz she can't have em, cuz she has my old bf, what can i do? i wanna stay friends, just not bffs, how can i tell her?

 

Hey girlie, tell her how much it bothers you that she always wants the same things you do. Let her know that it's cool to do her own thing and like what she wants to like.

Thank god she doesn't like him back because she's taken. I told my guy friend and he decided to talk to my crush. I am so confused because my crush told my guy friend that he likes me. Hey girly girl! It sounds like you def need to tell him yourself that you like him. It's possible that he could have gotten nervous when he was talking to you, and so he said that he liked someone else. You should totally talk to him and tell him how you feel.

MODMODMOD!! Hey I have a similar problem. I am in the seventh grade. In fourth grade Riley was my bff, and in 5th Amanda was .In fifth grade amanda and i were SO close! I kinda forgot Riley though cause she wasnt in my class. In sixth grade they both were and we became a 3some, tho i didnt relize the Riley was still left out. I started including her and Amnada equally.That's when amanda started changing. she yells at us all the time. Sometimes I see the old Amanda come throo but other times shes lost. My mom also really likes her. I cannot bare to loseher, but I'm really done. I've tried talking to her but she just gets WAY to defensive and yells at me. What do i do??

 

You and riley need to be a united front about this. I would write amanda a note or e-mail explaining how you feel and asking her to please try and see it from your point of view. That way, she is forced to consider what you are saying before she responds to you! Good luck, girlies!!

... First through fourth grade I was a prissy, smart-alic, pushy girl... but I was popular. Pretty soon, the "group" I was hanging out with kicked me out, and fourth grade, I was hated, ignored, unwanted...
So, I changed. I kept my mouth shut whenever I accomplished anything, I gave others credit for my doings, and I was accepted... but I was never "popular" again. At least... that's I hope is the right choice.
Now, three years later, sure I'm not popular... I don't care. Sometimes... I imagine what it'd be like if... if I never changed? If I were still standing arm-in-arm with all the other popular girls? How would I be? I'm cool with everyone... everyone...? I don't know. I don't know what I have to deal with yet. And, I'm hoping I don't have to... point is. I changed. I hated it, at least that's what I thought, but... it's good for me, for my new BFFs... sure. I had good grades, I was popular... but so I am... right now. Smile <33 ...without the attitude. ;P
