okay so what should i wear to school on halloween???? i have no idea what to wear! halloween is like my favorite holiday, and we are not supposed to wear a costume but i still want to wear something halloween-ish. any suggestions? please answer this ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like i need to go shopping soon so it would be nice to have some ideas.

Some costume ideas could be one of the characters from your book! I am not really familiar with the books you just listed, but I'm sure you can create a really good one with the many characters from the books!

I'm so psyched for Halloween! Not only is it awesome, but its also my birthday. For Halloween i'm going as a cow girl. So, i'm wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, my hair curled and a cowgirl hat. I usually go all out, but as i get older i don't feel like it as much.

Hey girl, best bet would to search online for costumes, or go to a nearby halloween or party store. Maybe you could be a cheerleader or dress like a woman from the 50s. Like the retro skirts and stuff. That would be pretty cute! =]

Hey girl, well from a personal level, i'm being a penguin. haha and so is my boyfriend. I want to be a rugrat (if you're familiar with that show from the 90s), or a dinosaur. So really just think of anything and you can make it or find it on the internet. Maybe take a trip to "party city" or a halloween store and just take a look around.

Any one need a great Halloween idea? Well, last year I went with my friend as old ladies. We had floral skirts, baggy blouses tucked in, brown loafer slip on shoes, and an over the shoulder bag at the thrift store for twelve bucks! Talk about cheap! Oh and we put our hair up in a messy bun and used hair paint to spray it gray! We accessorized with a cane for me and a walker for her. Glasses and some panty hose put the outfit competely together.... We walked around saying, "Where's the game hall? We're gonna be late for bingo..." and at random moments,"Bingo!" People loved it.... Oh and you'll really get them if you say, "Are these gluten free cookies?" LOL enjoy!

That's a cute idea! Try a store like Pajama City that specializes in pajamas {just Google it since I can't link to any outside websites!}, or choose matching tees and sweatpants to get the point across instead. Either way it sounds like it'll turn out great... have fun!! Smile

what i am doing is going as a diva and what i am wearing is a top that is in GL'so ctober/november 2010 issue it is a purple ruffel top on pg 28 with the shoes on 17 "hot heels" with skinny jeans from target! that is my compleat look for halloween!!

HELP!!!!!! I am going to a Haloween dance with my (well cant exactly call him a BF yet....) but we agreed on not wearing costumes. Then I realized everyone else will be in costume. Maybe you could ask some of your friends what kinds of costumes they are wearing to see if everyone is going overboard with Halloween costumes or if your dress will fit in fine. However, before deciding to wear a costume, I'd check with your date so that you're both on the same page. Since you agreed not to wear costumes, you want to make sure that you don't make him feel left out by wearing one and not telling him.

Hey girlie, a boxer would be really cute if you can find boxing gloves. You could wear gym shorts and a tank top with your gloves. Old Hollywood glamour would be super cute too, but I'm not sure how you would do that.

Hey girly! You should try JCPenney, or Target. Also, check online for vintage boutiques in your city. Forever21.com also has great finds! And, if you want to, I'm sure there's an Audrey Hepburn costume online.

MOD MOD MOD I have a friend who self injures. It all started last year, and between then and now she has talked to multiple people and now is in therapy. I beleived she had stopped hurting herself, but earlier this week there were at least 20 little red scratches on her arms, and a gigantic bruise on her hip. She said her brother had pushed her into a thorny bush, and that she had no idea where she had gotten the bruise. I was discussing it with another friend today, and my second friend told me that my self injuring friend had informed her that she had hit herself and that's where the bruise was from. I want to confront my first friend to tell her I wish she had been honest, since we're really close, but how do I do this without sounding like I'm attacking her? She's really sensitive. Thanks!




Your friend has a problem and needs help. this is why she is being so sensitive. let her know that you wish she had been honest with you, but above all you care the most about her well being and safety. also, tell an adult you trust what's going on. she may need a little extra help then  what she is now getting to get better.

Hey girl, it's simple when you realize guys are just people. Provide music, games (board or video games; Rock Band tends to be a hit at those kind of parties), refreshments and karaoke if you can and let your friends take over from there.

Hey girl, I'd try grabbing a pic online of your fave superhero, and incorporating a toned down look with the clothes in your closet. For example, use a blanket for a cape, etc.

Hey girl, why not go as your fave fairy tale character? The funny thing about big girl costumes is often times we dress as our fave childhood characters (Disney princesses, for ex.)

Sounds like a lot of fun! Get a plaid skirt or shorts, a plain button down shirt (tucked in), and some crazy suspenders! If you can find some big glasses (I know party city has some!), put some white tape around the bridge! Also try wearing some knee length socks. Finish it off with your hair in 2 braids or pigtails!

omg! if u want a creative costume idea, read what i did last year! i was a HUGE hit!

ok, so put on a fancy dress (like a homecoming dress) then put two different types of tights or leggings on. (you have to cut one leg off of each one) Tease one side of ur hair, and straighten the other. Also split ur face down the middle and do totally different makeup on each side. Lastly, get a tiara, and a sash. On the sash, write " Miss Matched" get it? Like Miss America? lol! long white gloves and a bouquet of flowers add a special touch to!

I have blonde semi-curly hair but I don't want to be Taylor swift because a lot of people are, and a lot of people are being lady gaga too. I only have like two days to come up with something!! MOD MOD MOD my pony club is having a halloween show and we have to dress up our horses and ourselves and i have no idea wat to do for it. my horse is tan and his nickname is Mr. Fabulous any ideas?

 

Hey girl!  If there is a famous guy-girl duo you like, you could do something like that.  You could also be a princess and have your horse wear a crown and be a prince or king.  I'm not sure how easy it is to find or make a costume for a horse, so you could also do an online search for some ideas!

modmodmod 2 questions. First, Wednesday is reality tv show day for spirit week and I really have no idea what to wear Help? Second, I'm wearing this bright orange strapless dress to homecoming and have NO idea of what accessories to wear and what to do with my hair, I have dark blonde hair just past my shoulders. Any ideas? Thanks!

 

Hey girl!  That sounds like a fun theme!  You could wear a bright, vibrant dress and be a dancer from "Dancing with the Stars," or dress rock star and go "American Idol," or carry a flower and be a girl from one of the many dating shows!  Those are just some ideas. 

If your dress is strapless, a great necklace would work well with the neckline.  Down or half-down do's work well with strapless dresses.  Also, don't forget a great little purse to carry all your essentials!
