I have hair all over my body, but my mom won't let me shave or wax. She said it would be OK if I use...

Hey! I'm kinda confused... In this article, it said that shaving would result in hair growing back faster and thicker, but in a later article on this website, it says that it really doesn't. Which one is it?

@ SoftBallBeauty: I have ADD and it is similar to ADHD but doesn't have the "H" factor. I know how it feels to have thoses issues. I told all my dance friends and they said that it wasn't an issue. So don't worry about it. Though there are some people who just don't get that this is a real disorder-not just all in your head.

MOD MDO MOD MOD!!!
Hi i posted this question like 10 times and all i get like answers are links that DONT answer my question so here it goes AGAIN.
I want to use hair removale cream but is it healthy as in does it have any bad and unhealthy chemicals in them?????????? Does it have effect on my health yes or no?

Hey! I don't know. however I cannot imagine that people would sell a product like that if it would actually hurt you. they would get sued if they did.

MOD MOD MOD i know this sounds stupid….but i have dark hair and people made fun of my "sideburns" so i shaved them. now they grew back kinda thicker and they are growing in like mens sideburns! ugh i have no idea what to do..i really regret this! Frown HELP!

Hey girly girl! I would talk with your hair stylist and see if anything can be done. And, it's just a myth that hair grows back thicker. It just seems that way because the hair is shorter and more bristly. As it gets longer, they won't be as thick.

Hey, theres no need to worry about your ADHD. start the year off fresh and tell you best of friends, if they dont like you or avoid you, then they were really not your buds! one of my BFFS has ADHD and her boyfriend broke up with her once just because she has ADHD, when she told me that i really wanted to slap him for that!
But just remeber that you true friends and guys that are nice wont care if you have ADHD, you still a normal person

hey mmc53411! tell you mom your problem and maybe she will let you shave!Or tell her to watch you shave your legs and prove you won't cut yourself.I ould also suggest Nair a lotion that takes away the hair so you won't have to worry about cutting yourself.I have used Nair and it works as long as your are not allgeric to the product. If you convince your mom to let you use lotion you should go to your local pharmcy and ask what they think is best lotion for your age or do some research on some prouducts. You can also use a razor that has special blades to reduce the risk of cutting yourself.Hope this helps!

I have ADHD and Im a little scared the kids in my class will make fun of me if they figure it out. I just found out a few months ago. I am on meds but my ADHD is still slightly noticable. If they find out, what do i do?

Please, if you have an answer please comment it on my profile. Thanx

MOD! I have sideburns and they're real noticeable.. any tips to get rid of them? Or at least make them less-noticeable?

Hey girl, I would check out this article and see if it helps:  http://www.girlslife.com/post/2010/08/28/hair-on-my-upper-lip.aspx.  You might also consider asking the stylist who cuts your hair - they might have some suggestions for you.  xoxo

I am 12 and am not able 2 shave my legs yet. My mom thinks I will cut myself. When I have to change for P.E. all of the girls look at my legs and say that I need to shave. It makes me feel left out.
