i am always so stressed during the holiddays iswear teachers load on the homework even though everyone has practice and family and shopping to do! Its like the time of giving means giving way more homework and projects!

Hey GL! I was just looking through your past October/November 2010 issue and I just wanted to thank you guys for putting advice and a picture of Ivanka Trump on pg.81 for the article Unhealthy Competition? I really appreciate you putting her in your magazine and her advice was excellent. I love her, the Apprentice, and I really look up to her as a role model and think she is beautiful. Most magazines dont have her in them, and even though it was a minor thing, I'm so grateful. Do you think you guys could put more about her and the television show on NBC's The Apprentice in your next article? Thanks so much!

My friend asked this guy to go to Junior Prom with me over the internet, just as friends.
I wanted to see what he would say.
He said he's thinking about going alone and will think about it.
Which I think is a no.
How can I not make things awkward between us?

 

The guy may not know that you know that your friend asked him, so just act like nothing happened and if he changes his mind and wants to go with you then that's awesome!

mod mod mod mod mod my mom was saying how lately she has been getting really dizzy. she said that in the last week it has happened twice, but i think she is lying to me for my own comfort. when i got home from school today, i heard my dad telling my mom that she should go to the hospital, but she denied saying she had things that needed to get done today. please help me!! give me some idea on whether i shouldn't be worrying as much as i am about this. thank you so much

 

 

Hey chica! I wouldn't worry too much about this yet. The same thing happened to my stepmom last year, and it turned out that she just had vertigo. They gave her some medicine, and she's totally cured.  There are lots of explanations for dizziness, and not all of them are as serious as we fear. But, your mom should go to the doc anyway, just to be on the safe side. I'd encourage her to go.

MOD MOD MOD I have this christmas eve party that i am going to. i kept on telling myself that it is far away but now that it is nearing i am starting to realize..... I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR. this party is sorta a dress up ocassion. i have this red skirt that i was going to wear but i have no idea what top i should wear it with. i i want to wear a red skirt with high heels, but i dont know what shirt to wear it with. can you help me plez! thank you in advance! Hey girly! If you're going to wear a bright skirt, I'd keep it more minimal on top. Maybe a neutral colored cami or shirt underneath a blazer, with heels.
