Dear mod, last Feb I met this guy at my dads friends house he's the same age as me and he really made an impresstion on me. The thing is I haven't seen him sense then and I doubt he even remebers me and in going to be seeing him soon. Am I weird for being like that? Help!! What should I do?!?!?!

I just got dumped by this guy, because he moved. We were really deeply in love. We were AWLAYS together. He moved, i was really depressed. I didn't eat or anythign for weeks. My mom is trying to set up dates for me but it makes it worse for me I don't want those guys . I want HIM! what do i do?

so this guy likes me, and he said he's planning to ask me out soon, when we see each other again. i like him too, but i'm not allowed to date and i don't even want to talk to my parents about it because it'll start another fight, i mean like i absolutely can't even mention this to them. me and him are REALLY good friends. ive turned down other guys before, but i really care about him. i dont know what i should do! we've been flirting a lot the past months and i dont want to hurt him. what do i say when he does ask? i'm NOT going to talk to my parents, and im kind of scared to be in a relationship, but i really like and care about this guy. i don't wanna ever lose him. what do i say when he asks?




Hey chickie,

I think you need to tell him the exact situation. Tell him you want to date him but you're just not allowed yet. Make sure he knows it's non-negotiable - you can't talk to your parents because the answer is going to be no. But, with that said, tell him you really like him and want to get to know him better. Make sure he knows you would date him if you could! But for now, ask him if he would mind hanging out with you in a small group, hanging out as friends at your house {with your parents around to supervise - unless you're not allowed to hang out with guy friends, which is something you should discuss with mom and dad}, etc. It's tough because you can't date him like you want, but there are definitely alternatives to take so you can still get closer without breaking the rules! Smile

Ok so there's this guy I really like in my Tech Ed class, and I think he likes me too. I was working at a table with him and one of my other guy friends and he kept commenting how we should totally go out but we both pretended we didn't hear him. We were having so much fun talking and laughing though so I was really excited to hear him say that. I'm not brave enough to ask him out myself but he's kinda shy so I don't think he's gonna ask me anytime soon. What should I do to get him to ask me out? And even if he does, I have no idea how to go about being a girlfriend- I've never had a boyfriend before. Please help! Thanks Smile

MOD! there's a boy i have a real crush on and my friends say he likes me back (even i can see it). they're just waiting for him to ask me out...and me too. but he won't! should i show more signs to him that i like him? one of my besties said it's because he likes me and he's really nervous and is afraid of being nervous (he's super-confident all the time). what should i do? thanks Smile

The guy i like was flirting with me 4 a long time, and hes bestfriend (which is a girl) started hating me he said he didnt give damn and i could still hang out with him and talk 2 him when ever i wanted even if she was there, which was sooo sweet, but now he decided he likes a girl in grade 10 , hes in grade 8, im in grade 7, he told me i should like guys my own age so me, being me, told him he should like girls hes own age then it made it arkward 4 a while but its ok now but i have gym with the girl he likes and she gave me the evil eye the whole time, plus she finds him cute....what should i do?

I know it sounds hard, but just try not to get involved with who he likes and his own business. Now that things aren't awkward between the two of you anymore, you should focus your attention on keeping that friendship strong! It's tough sometimes, but it's really better to try to ignore any other drama Smile
