I've inherited back hair

My whole family on my dad's side has this random patch of hair on their lower backs right above the butt...and really hairy stomachs. ...

I have that too, and my mom asked the doctor about it, and they said it might have to do with too many male hormones or too less female hormones, my voice is also deeper, they said that if that's what it is, they'll give me pills.. But would it make my voice higher? I don't really want to go to school with a higher pitched voice than it was before summer.. Thanks




Hey girl,

It probably will not have that much effect on your voice. It could make it a tiny bit higher, but it won't make it high pitched...or even noticeably higher, for that matter. It'll just help your body balance out your hormones. If you're concerned about this or any other effects, try asking your doc what to expect! If you're worried, tell him/her and they can really spell out what you'll see after taking the pills for a while <3

i have 2 questions:
1. ive had my hair the same way for a while. its red auburn and shoulder legnth. currently, the only style i have is a side bang. my face is oval-square ish. im getting it cut soon and i want a new style. any ideas?
2. i shave my legs, but i want to wax. is there DIY waxing kits for home and also whats the best brand if so? last part: how long do your legs usually stay smooth after waxing?

Hey girlie. Try adding some layers to give it an extra boost. There are DIY waxing kits but I've never used them, so I couldn't tell you which brand to use. I've heard that waxing can last for a couple weeks. It's best to ask around though- see if your friends have ever used it and get their advice!

Hey! Nair is also tested on Animals!!! you could try something like bee's wax...? it hurts the first few times (says a friend0 but after that it's fine Smile you should give it a try <3

My dad is like really hairy, and i was too, and i was also made fun of alot): i shave my legs and my arms, but i was just about to start using Nair on my back. But Nair smells funny, and i think its gross, but not as gross as a hairy back!

modmodmod im trying to lose weight but my mom is making it impossible! she doesnt support me at all and she knows im trying. she buys all these fatty foods and expects me 2 eat them and if i dont she gets RLY mad.she says im not fat and i know im not but i want to be skinnier. wut do i do?!thanks

 

Hey girl, I think you should have a convo with your mom.  It would be best to do it at a time when you're alone, and when you're away from the kitchen (when you're not arguing about food).  First, it's important to listen to your mom's concerns.  Weight loss when you are young can be unhealthy if you aren't careful, so it's important to consult a doc first.  But also let her know what you would like to see different, such as what kinds of foods you would like to buy.  Maybe you could work out a compromise, like you guys plan family meals that you both agree on, or go shopping together.  Be patient and mature, and hopefully you guys can work it out! Smile

i sort of have tha same prob.im a girl and im sooo hairy! its so emberessing.i hav noticble hair on my upper lip,cheeks,also on my back,stomach(and it not just a little,its all over!),chest and my arms r rlly hairyy )): wut do i do??is this a problm?!

 

Hey girlie. No, it's not a problem. Based on our ethnicity, some of us are more hairy then others. Talk to your doctor about things you may be able to do to make the hair not as noticeable. But remember that shaving is not always the best choice because the hair grows back faster and more hairy.

Me&my boyfriend broke up 3weeks ago,& we had been going seven months. He told me that there was health issues and his parents believed that it would be a good idea if we broke up. Well, the next day at school, people from the swim team came up to me. They had had a swim meet that weekend, and all the guys had snuck out of their hotel rooms and went to the girls rooms. Well, everyone else left at like midnight, by my boyfriend decided he would just spend the night in there. Well since then he refuses to talk to me at all. Today, one of my friends that he doesnt know started texting him. He admitted that he had cheated on me and started talking bad stuff about me. He said I had cheated on him with many guys,& he said he thought I might have even said sex with one of them.He also said that I was an awful gf,& I used to purposely leave him to hang out with other guys. The bad thing about this all is he knows it isnt true.He wants to make my life miserable, & I dont know what to do.




Hey girlie. You seem to be in a tough spot. You really need to talk to this guy and figure out what's going on with him. Sometimes people don't handle break ups well, so they feel it necessary to bash the other person. If you don't seem to get anywhere with him, then you will just have to try and ignore him. People will always say what they want to say, so remember who your true friends are. Certain people will stick by your side, so try and hang out with them as much as possible. Also, when people say things to you, just tell them that what they're hearing isn't true.

This guy named Jeremy told me that my 6 month crush, Robby, has a crush on me! SCORE! My friend Jade was SO happy for me! And then my friend Addie said that Jeremy lies to much. Robby talks to me a lot, and I want him to ask me out, but he hasn't yet! And it's been a month! My Mom says guys are supposed to ask the girl out. So she won't let me ask him out! What should I do? Hey girlie! Try getting his attention more. Talk to him more so he knows that you're interested. Many times guys are shy and fear rejection, so if they know that you like them, they may feel more inclined to ask you out!

Hey girlie, try a semi-permanent dye. You'll have to keep up with it monthly, but it won't show roots and it doesn't have as many chemicals in it.

I have some slight back and stomach hair, but luckily I'm blond and it's barely noticeable. Don't worry about your back; it's not like anyone's going to pay that much attention to your back...lol! Just have fun when summer comes around! Smile
