i was having a great day,and then at homeroom me and one of my friends were passing notes to each other. my friend was trying to convince me to ask my crush out , but my coach form P.E. ,that came to help my homeroom teacher with the fCAT, caught us and put up the notes on the projector for the whole class and my crush to see! talk about ambarassment!

I really like this guy & he is amazing!... except when he is with another one of our friends. When they're together, he is always making fun of me & saying he "hates" me. I know he doesn't hate me cause we almost always end up sitting by each other at games & i think he looks at me, cause whenever I look around or at him, he tells me that "staring is rude!" Like he thinks I'm staring at him.(which sometimes i amSmile Anyways, whats his deal? He is shy, so it makes sense that he says he hates me, b/c he knows i like him, so he doesn't want anyone to think he likes me. But its pretty obvious that he doesnt hate me & he is only mean around Nathan! Whats up?! I'm so confused!!! PLEASE HELPPP!!!

Hey girlie,

He may just be trying to cover up his feelings for you, but would you really want to be with a guy who's embarrassed that he likes you? He isn't treating you right at the moment, so there's no saying that he would if you guys were together. I would say you should bring it up next time he's mean to you--tell him that he's not treating you with respect, and if he doesn't stop, find a guy that will treat you like the princess that you are!

Alright, so im 14, almost 15, and alot of guys in my grade have asked me out. ive turned all of them down and i feel really bad, but i just like them as freinds. A couple of months ago, this Jr guy started talking to me. we talked alot and he said he liked me and i liked him. he was amazing. then he randomly stopped talking to me for like 2months. We're talking again now, but off and on. He compliments me alot and says really sweet things, but only sometimes. we'll go a couple of weeks without talking, and sometimes we'll talk everyday. Im not sure whats going on, but i kinda feel like im being used. what sucks is i still like him..What should i do?? Help Please. ThanksSmile




Hey girlie,

If you're concerned about it, why not ask him? Don't make a big deal about it, but just ask him why you haven't heard from him in so long. He might be worried about things getting too serious - sometimes that makes guys nervous - but you're right, you don't deserve to only be talked to when it's convenient for him. Still, you don't want to be rude. It'd probably be best to make an effort to befriend new guys who you might like and be a little less "available" to your crush, just to show him that you won't always be there when he wants you to be. Don't play games, but don't wait around for him either!

I'm going to the dance with my guy friend and my friend. I've liked my guy friend for 2 years, but I told him last year and he didn't do anything about it. I still really like him and then I found out my friend who's going has a huge crush on him too. should I tell her I really like him? I keep trying to get over him but It's almost impossible.

 Hey girlie. What do you mean you don't have the confidence! Guess what? Confidence is the one thing you can fake and eventually you end up believing it! So put your head up, shoulders back and smile. Just try one time, walking up to someone and saying something that you have always wanted to say (in a nice way of course).  I think you may surprise yourself. : ) Do it for you.

okay, so this guy from my old school, i met him on facebook after looking through my friends contacts on facebook. before i moved i would talk to him, and we were friends but that was back when i was in grade5. suddenly in the middle of the year, i stopped talking to him, i forget why though.so yea, i started talking to him a few weeks ago (btw im in grade 2 now)one day i comented on his photo saying, "cuutttiiiee <3 , miss you hun ): " ever since then, hes started to call me "hunn". i hate it. like, i know i called him hun, but i dont feel comfortable getting called hun by him. now i realized why i stopped talking to him in the first place. he was too clingy and weird. now i feel terrible because i brought up our friendship. how do i stop talking to him? i dont know what to doooo. ):




Hey girlie. I think if you slowly stop talking to him and distancing yourself, he will get the point. Or you can aways just tell him that you don't like being called hun by guys. It's good to be honest with people and it's not like you have to be rude about it either. Just calmly take him aside and say, hey, would you mind not calling me hun anymore?

Hey chica! I totally know how you feel. However, I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet. You don't know who he likes, so I wouldn't assume that he likes her. I would try to hang with him as much as you possibly can, just the two of you. Then, he'll be thinking about you more than her Smile

Hey girlie! All you can do is talk to him and be straight forward about your actions. Sometime during the next two days, take him aside and say you need to talk to him personally. Then just explain that you are sorry about overreacting about the Facebook status, but it was only because you really care about him. Tell him that it won't happen again, and that you will make sure to talk to him about any concerns you may have about your relationship before doing anything drastic like before. Good luck!

MOD MOD MOD next week is auditions for my school's musical (Beauty and the Beast Smile) and my BFF and I,who are, well, theatre buddies I guess, have the same audition time and stuff. She's been planning on singing a certain song (Part of Your World from Ariel) for, like, 2 months, and I recently gave up on the song I wanted to do (I Feel Pretty) and haven't really been able to decide what to sing. Well, I just tried singing the same song as her, and it sounded, like, perfect for me, Smile and I love the song. But I don't want her to get mad about me doing the same song-- it'll feel like a competition if we do the same song. Any advice?? thankk ya. <3

 

Hey girlie. Hmm. What about "Stuff" from The Littler Mermaid? That song is great too. Actually all songs from disney movies are great for auditions! Try finding another song that makes your voice sound good.

Hey girl. You gotta be the bigger person. Don't get him back. Just ignore him for a while. Then he'll realize he was being stupid and really feel the need to talk to you and hang out with you. I guess more...play hard to get. But definitely make him realize he was mean, by ignoring him. Not getting him back. That never helps, trust me. =]

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD So I've never had a BF before and I tend to get kinda awkward whenever I'm around guys my age. So whenever my crush comes over he'll say something like "hey what's up?" and walking past him and without looking at him I say "nothing" and I realized how annoyed and miserable I sounded. I don't mean to and I feel real bad 'cause he must think I'm annoyed I just don't know how to be around guys yet! Help!
