this is always tough. i've lost 2 dogs before, both of which i loved oh so much. but anyways, just stay strong for your beloved pet. i have my third dog now (whose a 4 month old puppy) and it just helps things get better. i thought i was replacing my other dogs, but thats not the case. different personalities, so they have special places in your heart. and just think, this is whats for the best. your dog is sick and most likely unhappy and as horrible as it sounds (because i've been told this and i at first thought it was wrong) this is actually the best possible thing. they'll be much better and in heaven. free of pain and sickness and that's what you want for your dog. just remember that.

my dog is getting really old and he's going blind. i've had him since kindergarten. it's really hard because you see him run into things and you just want to help him. but you can't.. we can't afford to take him to the vet right now either.

Aww, I am soooo sorry about your doggy. I have lost three dogs my life and ever since we have gotten two new playful pups. You aren't replacing them (like the mod said). But, I hope you cope well with this! <3luvlife<3

I`m sorry girly...i lost my boxer dog on 10/10/10.....my icon is my dog. i feel your pain. hang in there. it gets better. it really does. it`s okay to cry though. do what you need to do.. losing my dog was really hard, but after 3 months of him being gone, it got easier to move on. so hang in there!
