I know a bunch of kids at school, but no one ever asks me to hang out. I feel like a loser…

im in high school and theres this new kid. the problem is he smells, really bad. im not even kidding. it stinks when he walks by and everyone knows its him. a few people have even been soooooo kind to put soap and deoderant on his desk. i know in the elementary school, if kids have health problems like that, the teachers send them to the nurse. i just dont understand why this kid hasnt been talked to and i feel really bad because people make really pointed comments about it and he even has a nickname, "Stinky". i dont want to embarrass him and tell the nurse, but at the same time, who knows how long this will go on for. i just feel really bad for this guy, and i dont know what to do. luckly, i think he has made some friends but most people hate going near him.

I've been homeschooled for a few years now, and I'm going back to school in April. I'm freaked out because I don't know ANYONE at this school and I'm really nervous about being the new girl! Any advice for when I go?

Hey girlie! Going to a new school can be tough, especially when you've been home schooled for so long. The best way to meet new people is to be confident in yourself and initiate conversation. When people see that you are a nice and confident girl, it'll make them want to get to know you better Smile

modmod Hi,just got my middle school results today but it wasn't what i wanted. Everbody and me had high hope for me to go to that school, lets call it holland park, i even got a art sholarship that helped me get in more, but we had to take a art test. And everybody thought i was gonna get in there and only a few ppl go there in our class but i did't get it. I wa sso sad i cried so hard when i found out i dodn't go. Can you plz help me by the ways the school i wanted to go to but instead im going where mostly all my friends are going but wanna have new frined sbut there probaly won't be and i only have like 3 friends and the other are sometimes nice to me but areb't really my friends there my friends friends. can you plz help me im am super sad plz Cry

Hey girlie. I'm sorry that you didn't get into the school you wanted. But that can mean good things. You may like the other school better. Also, don't worry about friends. You will make good friends. Everything will work out, don't you worry!

The other day at school, my BFFL since our 1st year of preschool (we're in 10th grade), Kelsey, was passing out invitations at school. I asked her what they where and she said they were her sleepover party invitations. I knew I'd get mine soon, but, I never did! I called her this afternoon and she said that she couldn't hang out because she had to get ready for the party, and she never asked me! I had my friend, Jaylen, who was invited to ask if I was, so she did, and Kelsey said no! Jaylen asked why and she said that Kelsey said because she wanted to hang out with other people that aren't me! I've asked her if she was mad at me and she said no and she still acts like my BFF, even better! Should I be mad? Please help! 




Hey chica. I'd talk to your bff about the situation. It's not very nice of her to not invite you if you guys are bffs, so see what's going on with her!

Hey chica. Try making new friends who treat you better. Then, spend your time with them instead of the people who don't treat you like a real friend.

You told me to meet new people in clubs, but I know everyone at school. So it won't help. And even if I get to know someone more, it won't help since they already have their friends that I don't like. What do I do!?

 

Hey! there are community clubs that you can join too, that way you can get to know people you don't already know Smile

I have a load of best friends. The only problem is we all go to different schools. And since I met them through bball teams, I only see some of them twice a week. I would be fine if I liked the people at school, but I don't. They are all annoying or have a bad history. I don't like them, they are clingy, bossy, or mean so what should I do!?!?!
