I am sorry your mom lives so far away. You can always mail her something. I know postage might be a little pricey but it will be definitely worth it! Do you guys have a Skype account? Skype is an application which you can download and call and video chat for free on. Then she will get to see your face, what a great Mother's Day gift Make sure that both of your have web cams on your computers. Then you can set up two accounts: one for you and one for her and email her the account/user name information.  Then you can chat whenever you want! I did this a lot over the summer when my BFF was studying abroad in Europe. I hope this helps!
