SO there's this guy I like. He's only one grade older than me, but that means we don't have any classes together! But, I used to Facebook chat him a lot and eventually he slipped his number to me (cause my laptop was dying). So now I've started texting him, but I feel clingy cause I'm always the first one to text him! He always texts back and our conversations last pretty long and stay interesting, but I still feel like I bother him cause I text him EVERYday. When I pass him in school, he looks at me and I smile and wave but I never talk to him in person. How do I get to talk to him in person, or even just get him to text me first?? Or both? Thanks

I have this crush on one of my guy friends. We've known each other for about half a year, and I'm not sure if he likes anybody. I don't want to date him now(cause I'm in 6th grade)but in the future would be totally fine. And I'm afraid if I ask him out in the future, and he rejects me that we would have an awkward friendship... his guy friend always tease us, and my girlfriends says he like me... HELP!!!

I used to think i was in love with my bf but now im not so sure, it has been 3 months and we havent hung outside of school even once, he never says sweet things anymore, he never even said happy v day on valentines day! Then he was up till one in the morning but couldnt answer i text i sent at 4 p.m that same day! Plus i never feel like we can have endless conversations and stuff like that because he goes to bed so early and at school we totally click but outside of school he is a whole different person im not sure that i like! Please help me! Answer asap please because i am desperate!

Maybe you should talk to your boyfriend about these feelings before you make a decision you aren't happy with. Tell him what you have said here and what you think the issues in your relationship are, because a good relationship is based on honesty, so you'll need to be able to be open with him. He might not realize these things and have an explanation, or you might realize you aren't right for each other. Either way, an open and honest discussion would sort these things out!

Hey! First of all, I'd just like to thank all of the Mods for all their help that they've given me. Y'all are awesome! Well, anyways, me and my BF have been dating for a little over 6 months (squee! ). He's met my dad already, and they seem to like eachother. I'm really happy about that. The thing is though, I never get to hang out with him besides seeing him at school. I really miss hanging out with him. He asked me if I wanted to go see a movie with him tomorrow night with his sister, her BF, and his cousin. I'd really like to go, but my grandma is here from Virginia and I want to see her. I just feel mean declining him every single time. I just don't know how to talk to my parents about going on dates with him. They're fine with us dating and stuff, but because of my shy nature, I can never seem to gwt the nerve to ask them. I've talked to my friend about it, but she said to just ask them. I just can't get the nerves to do it. Sorry it's so long. Thanks!!!! (:

 

hey! I think if your grandma's in town you should see her, so that's a legit reason to decline. but maybe next time you can ask him to go to a movie. when you talk to your parents, try to calm your nerves by focusing on how happy you'll be after you've talked to them about it. good luck!

So I met the guy I like at my new school in September through one of our mutual friends who lives back at home. We clicked instantly, but we only see each other at band practice, so I gave him my number (at the time I didnt like him like that) and he gave me his. Over the weeks that we got to know each other, we'd often say hi at practice, but we'd text more than we ever really talked. After two months of knowing him, I finally convinced myself to tell him that I like him. I kept it short and to the point, but he never replied back! I waited 24 hours before texting him again, and we went on acting like
nothing had ever happened. Sometimes he finds me at practice & will smile & wave, or if we're walking past each other he'll look at me, say hi & smile when I start to say hi back. We still havent talked about it, so Im wondering if he likes me, likes me? HELP!!!

He was probably surprised, especially if you told him that over texting. If he hasn't brought it up, I would try to stay friends for now. He knows how you feel, so if he's ready for a relationship, he'll bring it up!
