I'm afraid my parents are going to get a divorce because they argue all the time.

sorry this is long...
my mom has been crying a lot lately but shes been trying to hide it from me. last night i woke up after dinner from a nap and i heard them arguing. at first i thought it was a nightmare, and then i realized it was real. then my mom burst out crying, saying shes been seeing a therapist and she wants pills because she cant stand the pain anymore even thought she wanted to work through this. my dad called her a p word for crying and said he "did it" and didnt want to be with her anymore. it sounded like cheating. then he started saying about getting divorce but with more hate than ive ever heard. i wanted to know what was going on, but i couldnt stand anymore and ran out my back door and called my friends, sobbing til they came and got me. a couple hours later i finally went home, but i almost stayed over my friends. my parents dont know i heard. i'm scared. what should i do? i almost dont want to know, both my sibling are at college and im 17 and stuck here




Hey girl, you need to talk to someone about this. Start with a friend's mom you really trust: an adult outside the house. Let your siblings know too. It's important you talk to someone outside of this and get that adult perspective. Things sound pretty rough at your place, but know it's not your fault and you shouldn't be afraid of getting help. This isn't your burden to carry alone.

will someone help me.....i hate my life. i'm always getting picked on :'( being compared to :'( and my parentd always fight :'( did i mention they treat my brother better than me :'( help me i really am under a lot of stress i've aken it out on my brother written in a dirary and cant get away from depression and im only 10! help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey there babe. As cliche as this sounds, your time will come! It's actually better to have you first kiss with a guy you really like than to settle and have your first kiss with just anyone. Try to start seeing the good in your life. I'm sure there are things you have that your friends admire. Smile

Girlie- I know EXACTLY what you're going through. My parents WERE the same way, but they got a divorce- and things are a LOT calmer. Trust me it may seem scary now but maybe a divorce is what they need to be happier. Add me as a friend if you want to talk more about it.

I feel ya girl.

I'm 100% sure that the only reason my parents are together is that they had me. They fight all the time, and they have even told me that when I go to college they're going to get a divorce. My mom told me that another reason she stays is because she likes our house to much. It's really hard to live with them sometimes. My mom gets mad over the littlest things and then just goes crazy. Then my dad has to start a fight with her just so she'll stop yelling at me. I feel so bad about this.. I feel like it is all my fault that their lives are horrible. I don't know what to do. Sometimes I wish that they would just get a divorce already so that none of us would have to deal with this anymore.

Hey! My parents got a divorce like 3 years ago. We have a really good system and I see my dad nearly every day. If they do talk to them, tell them that you want to see both of them the same amount as you see the other. Hope I helped!

My mom just filed for divorce with my dad and now he wont stop calling and texting and begging for her back its starting to get really annoying... and i was talking with my mom and she said that money is gonna be really tight for awhile.. Please help. What do you think i should do?




 hey! this is going to be hard, but if your dad is trying to put you in the middle of their marriage problems you should tell your mom so that she can ask him to stop. You can talk to him about how it makes you feel too. For the money stuff just be understanding if your mom can't get you all the things she normally does. That'll help her feel less stress. good luck!
