Hey babe,

When you do cardio, results generally show up pretty quickly as long as you're eating properly as well.

In terms of muscle, that generally takes a month to really show results.

I'm not the best with fashion. Everyone wears Aeropostale or Hollister but I'm more into flouncy florals with belts. What should I wear thats in between?

First of all, you should wear what YOU wanna wear, not what everyone else is! But if you really want to, try pairing one item from Hollister or Aeropostale with a flouncy floral. For example, you could get a pair of jeans from hollister and pair them with a cute, florally top. Hope that helps! x0x0

Please help my brother always make un of me saying your fat and fatty my dad told me that i need to lose weight he said but he still loves me and when i was at school alot of people was calling me fat sometimes i go in the bathroom and cry and say i hate myself sometimes and say i want to kill myself but i don't want to and never will please help me im only 10. i haven't been to the doctor lately so can you give me like a link routine i can do this summer thanks♥makiyah

Hey girl, I'm so sorry people are treating you like that. I think what would help you a lot, however, with finding that routine is talking with a doctor about what's been going on and asking him suggestions on what to do. As for the teasing, be sure to tell your dad and brother that what they say hurts (your brother especially). Your dad means well, but his approach just isn't the right one to take right now and he may not realize how hurtful what he's doing is. Please talk to a counselor too if you ever feel like you want to give up. It's so important you reach out and realize you've got a team of people who want to help you here. Tell the counselor about the bullying at school too -- she can help it stop but she can't help solve a problem she doesn't even know about.

I am REALLY chubby. I want to lose about 20-30 pounds before school starts next year. What are some of the quickest and easiest ways to lose weight?

Hey girlie -- when it comes to weight loss, your best bet is to increase your fruit and veggie intake and decrease those foods that aren't so good for you. Also, you should increase the amount of water you drink on a regular basis and incorporate cardio  exercises. Always remember, before you consider *any* type of diet, you should speak to your doctor first Smile

Ok so Im trying to tone up pretty quickly, please tell me if this sounds like a good plan and about how much time it should take to tone up: (i do all of these 2x a day)
10 3 second hold crunches
10 2 part crunches
10 squat jump puush up things
20 lunges (10 each leg)
and running on the treadmill every few days
ps. any other good workout ideas? Please suggest!


Hey Chica!

 This sounds like a good start to getting more toned. As you progress through your workout, I would definitely add to the number of times you do each of the exercises. It will keep challenging your body! I also recommend trying some yoga poses and using some free weights for your arms. Also, since the weather is getting nicer, you can go running outside instead of the treadmill. It might take a couple weeks before you start seeing results so don't get discouraged Smile Have fun!

Hey girly! You could always do pushups, that's great for arms. Also, try yoga or pilates. As for workout music, my gym playlist contains everyone from Lady Gaga to Katy Perry, Green Day, the Gin Blossoms and Creedence Clearwater Revival Smile

Me and my sis want to do this routine tomorrow, but what can we do to get the most benefit out of this workout? Like if we should to cardio, do it before, after, or between? And how many sets should we do? Thanks!

you can do cardio before or after--Try 2-3 sets for each and see how your bodies can take it.  Get some snacks with lots of protein to help build muscle! Have fun Smile

~MOD~What forms of cardio are there? I know of running and dancing (I don't like dancing), which is fine, my bike isn't working, and the community pool isn't open until May. What else can I do for cardio other than running?
