Going to a friend's party when I don't like the guests

My friend is having a party and some people I don't like are going to be there. Should I skip the party, or go and ignore them?

Dear __, I Kinda New To This Girls Life.com Thing. So Sorry If I Did This Wrong. Haha, Anyways I Need Advice Badly. I Recently Just Got A New Boyfriend On The 6th Of December, Its December 21 So Been Together For A While. Usually He Texts Me Everyday, But Recently Me Cousin Told Me He Cheated. So Of Course I Asked Him About It, And He Said He Didn't But He Got Really Mad. Therefore, He Hardly Texts Me Now, But When He Does He Texts Me Like Everything Is Boring, And Its Making Me wonder If He Still Is Interested In Me.,,Please Help- What Should I Do?

So, my friend has liked this guy since like fourth grade (i'm in eighth grade now) and she is convinced that he likes her. But...um...he doesn't. She is always talking about how he likes her and she is wondering when he's gonna ask her out. But I have overheard him talking about girls to his friend once in the hallway, and he is really not interested in my friend. What should I do when she brings it up??

Since this is between the two of them, it's not really your job to get involved. But if she's planning on making a move, you could suggest she ask him if he likes her, or encourage her to consider other options. This is sensitive, though, so try not to hurt her feelings!

MOD MOD MOD!!!
I was at a slumberparty and we were playing the question game. One of my friends asked who I liked. I didn't wanna tell them cause earlier they were saying how they thought he was weird. I gave up and told them. They think he's weird and unattractive. I like him cause hes nice to me. Very nice. A friend actually. They said they wouldn't judge me and didn't when I told them but I could tell they were thinking of it. They said what is said in the circle stays there. I'm still worried they might tell someone or him. Help!




Hey girlie,

Just try to relax! They were talking about him because they didn't know about your feelings - and then, when they did know, they didn't judge you at all for it. Even though it doesn't erase the gossipy stuff they said earlier, it's at least showing a bit of respect! Don't assume they were thinking negative things about it...you don't actually know, so you wouldn't want to freak yourself out! Instead, just be confident with your decision. He's a great guy to you and you're not shallow, so you can appreciate all of his amazing qualities and his great personality. That says a lot about you - and is GREAT! If any of them give you drama because of it, tell them why you like him and then let it go. It's not their place to judge Smile

MOD!! MOD MOD PLEASE!!? (Thanks for answering all my Q's!) I have this..thing that's kinda embarassing to admit.. So my friend & I are..married (a girl) like many people do.. But I may (AND THIS IS A VERY SLIM CHANCE!!!) Actually like her.. not a wholeee lot, but more than a firend. & this isn't the first time I've felt this way. Also with my orchestra stand partner.. But I feel like..really embarrased..I haven't told anybody, because I'm not 100% sure I like like them a lot. I'm probably gonna keep it a secret but..Should I be afraid?! Why am I thinking that I like these 2 girls?? I don't want people to think I'm a lesbian, because I don't really think I am..but..still..I have feelings for them, I think..What do I do? Is there something wrong with me? I have NOTHING against gays, but the thought of being one..O.o..Scary..Help me! If you can? This was also happened on my life for several time. But sometimes I went to party and sometimes not. But now regarding this post now I can easily guess it was almost not good looking. If I would not like someone in the party but I have to go there. Thanks buddy!

MOD Theres a boy in my grade who is kind of a player, but has def slowed down. at a dance last week he was trying to get either me or my best friend to make out with him, but i didn't want to because of his history so she did. afterwards, i heard from a other people that he said my friend was a terrible kisser, and he would rather have kissed me then her, and likes me more. I didn't see this as a problem until she told me that she has feelings for him and wants to do it again. What do i tell her?

 

 

Hey girly girl! I'd be completely honest with your friend, and let her know how skeevy you've heard he was, and what you heard he said about her. I know I would want to know! She may be upset at first, but that'll only be temporary.

MOD MOD MOD In 5th grade ( I'm in 6th grade) I had a best friend, and ever since school started we don't really talk. We talked at the beginning of the year but by Thanksgiving Break, we barely talked, and now, we rarely say hi to eachother when we pass by eachother in the hall. We don't text or e-mail anymore, and I miss it. I don't have her number and when I mail her she rarely responds. What should I do? Please help! ~Lauren

MODMODMOD! Ok. There is this guy and he's a TOTAL pervert. So she shoved bread down my friends shirt! So now everybody's horrified and she says, "_____ help me get it out." So the guy shoves the friend out of the way, and puts his hand down her shirt and got the bread out! But he touched her bra strap. And then one near her breast she got by herself but this guy is way out of control. What should I do? I really don't wanna b a tattletale but it was like he sexually assaulted her! I don't know what to do! HELP!
