@clairebear694 , You could try wearing a pair of shorts under your skirts, that way you can still run and do sporty things without worrying if people will see you underwear or somethingLaughing

MOD MOD MOD MOD My mom and I went bathing suit shopping the other week and she dissaproves of EVERYTHING! I am allowed to have a bikini, but not the kind with the string in between the paart that covers your boobs. (string bikini) but those are literally the only bathing suits i could find!Do you know any stores that sell these bikinis? THanks!

Hey girly! I'd check Target for lots of options Smile

MOD MOD MOD Hey. I come from a very strict family. So i'm not really allowed to wear skirts (short) or shorts. I was thinking of earing dresses, with legggings. But the sleeves will also be a problem. I don't like any of the dresses with sleeves. So i thought that maybe I can wear a dress with like an unbuttoned T-shirt? do you think it would look good?  Thanks!!
xoxo,
Kuku

Hey chica! That sounds totally cute! I bet it will look fab on you.

Do you need advice on ANYTHING? I promise I'll try to give my best and honest answer even if I haven't been through it! I'm on here at least once a day so I'll respond ASAP. Nothing is too personal(:

MOD MOD MOD MOD Lately my parents have been getting really conservative. i've always liked to wear v-neck and scoop neck shirts and sweaters with camis, so you never see anything, but these last few months they've constantly been getting on my case about wearing these all the time. i get that they just don't want me to "grow up" that fast, so what kind of cute outfits could i wear that have a decent neckline? i'm not a huge fan of tshirts. thanks!

Hey chica!  You could consider pairing your cute tops that you already have with cardigans, which can make them more conservative.  But I think you should talk to your 'rents - ask them exactly what they are okay with.  You might ask if your mom or dad will take you shopping so you guys can agree on things that are both appropriate and fitted to your style.  xoxo

I agree with paigebunny. that skirt is NOT modest. it's way too short.

MOD!
i just bought a yellow skirt and have no idea what to wear with it. i was thinking maybe a white tank top and jean jacket or maybe a white button down top or a pale pink tank top? i don't want to look like a bee so not black but any other ideas?

Hey girlie. I love the jean jacket idea. Go for any shirts that have yellow in them or shirts that are white. Your ideas are great! Smile

*MOD MOD* Ok I have 2 things. 1st what does mod stand for. 2nd(the important one) my dad is missing my orchestra concert for one of my brothers baseball games. Do you think I should understand why he cant go? If not, what should I say to him?

Hey girlie! Mod just stands for moderator. A moderator is one of us girls who i here to answer any of your questions! To answer your question about your dad, it can definitely be hard when you feel like one of your parents is favoring a sib -- trust me, we all have those moments. You're dad can't be in two places at once, and I'm sure it was a tough decision to choose between two important events. You could suggest that since he's missing your shining moment this time, you'd really like him to be at your next performance. Good luck!

my mom would totally not approve of that skirt, it's way too short.
Maybe they should post pictures of more modest clothing in something that is supposed to be about being modest.
