Modmodmod! My mom won't let me shave my legs OR use Nair. She doesn't shave her legs and it looks gross and hairy and I don't want my legs to look like that. I am turning 12 and I have dark skin and dark hair so it looks like I have thin strips all over my legs and on my tummy. What can I do to change her mind?

 

Hey sweets! Try sitting down and having a conversation with her! Making make some compromises? Say you'll pick up a few extra chores to show you're responsible and mature? Or maybe set a goal and once you've achieved  the goal then you get to shave? I use nair shower power max on my arms and it works well! i tried it on my legs once and it didn't work all that well. if you're goin to shave definitely get a shave gel... i love skintimate raspberry rain!

MOD i have tried nair and veet removal but when i use the normal original type it burns and is really itchy. Then when i use sensitive skin type ut doesnt work. Any idea what to try next?

 

 

Hey girly! Personally, I like to stick with a plain, old-fashioned razor. Hair removal creams typically smell bad, and usually don't give as close of a shave as a razor does.

This is a wierd question but everytime i shave I get these like red dots on my legs! They look like pimples! Its wierd! Why do u think this occurs? And how can I prevent this from happening in the future? (:

MOD!! I was wondering, does your hair grow back thicker and darker after you use hair removal cream?? I shave my legs and the hair on my legs are now darker and thicker. My friend suggested using cream but I don't want to use it if it makes your hair thicker an darker. Help!!!
