MOD MOD MOD Where I live, it's EXTREMELY hot outside, so I can't do running or sprints. Are there any exercises I can do at home that will bring the same results? Thanks!

 

 

Hey girl. Running up and down stairs will work similarly. Other than that I'm not sure. Machines are another more expensive option.

hey modSmile i have volleyball in the fall and my off season coach said that it would help if i improved my vertical/speed/agility for the fall season. I found some good places that would help me to improve this, but they are very expensive...do you have any ideas that would help to improve my speed, agility, and vertical while just working out at home? thanks! Smile

so i ran cross-country in school last year for the first time ever, and made varsity (o ya!) i want to do cross-country again this year, but this time train and place well at districts. we have these really nice running trails by my house that i want to use, and my mom see's where i'm coming from, but wants to make sure i'm safe. so i'm stuck using our garage Frown how can i keep my mom feeling as if i'm safe and be able to use the trails???




Find someone to run with! If you have a running buddy im sure she would feel much better about it. xoxo kerra

I'm going away for the summer in two weeks, and I need to pack a good amount of jeans. The problem is that none of them fit anymore. Jeans I could wear last week don't even fit! What can I do to make sure they fit in that short of a time?




It could be water weight--decrease your salt intake/salty foods

Ok I'm going to turn eleven in two months but I'm wondering what age should I start working out I'm not overweight or anything I just wanted to know what age was appropriate for working out? Oh and does coffee stunt your growth




hey girl,

you can start working out if you want to stay toned and healthy!  Just don't overdo it and eat balanced and healthy meals.  And get enough protein!  Coffee shouldn't stunt your growth, but don't drink too much of it because it has a lot of caffeine and can be very addictive.

Hey!! I'm 13 years old. so i play basketball in the fall at school and i want to keep in shape in summer. i would really like to go running a lot. But the thing is: my parents work during the day and i'm not allowed to go outside during the day when they're not home. and we have a treadmill but my mom doesn't want me going on it unless someone is home and watching. and i don't want to do it when my dad gets home because that's when i go outside and hang with my friends and go on walks or something...
what should i do? thanks!! Smile

Okay Mod plz help I`m trying to lose inches off of my thighs. I dunno how mant that are there now but there big and I hate it I have stretch marks and I hate them too! The thing is that I want to lose it cuz I`m going to be playing VB next year and I dnt want to be the girl with the huge legs. :/ I`m going running on Fri I think but I`m not 100% sure. So how are some way that I can get me self in shape and how can I start eating right?? Oh and I will be going on vacation very soon like within the next 2 or 3 weeks. I will be goin to Cali so I want to try in get in shape by then.

Running will do wonders for your legs. So make sure you run friday!! Get to work on a schedule of eating healthy and exercising and youll be surprised what you can do. xoxo kerra

Hey girly girl! I'd definitely work on eating healthy, being active and having a good frame of mind! Stock up on fruits and veggies, drink lots of water, get out and exercise, and have fun!

Hey girly! Leg raises are basically just that... when you lay down and raise each leg for a second... repeatedly. As for other ways to get toned, I'd try some fun new activities... like salsa dancing, zumba, pilates, yoga, running and walking! As for weight loss, that's something that you'd need to talk to your doctor about.

MOD!! so my friends email got hacked because this random one was sent to all of her friends with a link. i pressed it (cause i thought it was legit) and it brought me to this CVS site. Im scared now that since i pressed it, someone can access information from my computer. what should i do?

 

 

Hey chica! I'd make sure to go into your Internet Options, Security, and clear out your "cookies" on the computer. You'll see an option for it.. And, change your passwords for such things as Facebook, your e-mail and other sites.

I'm glad you have the motivation to be a better you! that'll definitely help make new friends.  I would suggest learning to build confidence--confidence is key to making new friends and showing others your personality.  Be a positive person and be open to talking to people who may seem different from you--whether it's their looks, interests, culture, etc--you'll be pleasantly surprised!  Always flash your beautiful smile and of course, eat healthy and exercise regularly (that'll help with the confidence)!  Good luck at your new school, and I hope you wow them with your personality Smile

Okay, so my friend has this problem. She likes this guy, but so does her friend. Her friend is really posave about him, so she doesn't want 2 tell her. The girl has had a crush on him for a long time, but so has my friend has also. She doesn't know what to do!! Help!!!

Sounds like a sticky situation, but I think in the end, it's going to be the guy's choice.  Just tell your friend to be herself around him and not try to hard to get his attention...tell her it's more important to develop a good friendship with the guy first, so that if anything were to happen, it would be easy and just make sense.  It's not worth "fighting" with the other girl for the guy--if your friend is the best choice for him, he'll come to his senses and make the best decision. So friendship first above all!
