heyy so 1.)i'm on the way to becoming a singer, i'm looking at studios, and voice lessons, and all that. and i'm already nervous, and idk why. i've been dreaming of this for so long, and now that i have an opportunity, im kinda nervous. why?
2.)a producer is going to listen to my voice, and what if he doesnt like it? he's gonna be honest...if he says im not good, which i doubt(not tryin to brag, just based on everybody elses opinions), what do i do to keep going?

Hey girlie,

1) It's natural to be nervous! You're taking your hobby to the next level and you're unsure about what's to come - it's natural to fear it, or at the very least feel uncomfy with the unfamiliar territory. But whenever you're starting to feel really overwhelmed with nerves, remind yourself of how GREAT this could all end up. You could become a singer and spend your life doing what you love! Focus on the music and hitting the notes - just take one step (and one deep breath) at a time. Like I said, a little stage fright is normal...but the goal is more important than succumbing to a little butterflies Smile

2) If you're going into show biz, remember: it's a harsh business. Even if you're the best ever, there are going to be people who are overly-critical and who turn you away. If someone says no, try to brush it off. Take constructive criticism and use it to get better at your craft, but don't take it too seriously. It's their job to say yes and to say no - it's your job to keep going until you get your chance Smile
