How can I get over graduation?

I graduated last year from my primary school and I still cry when I remember funny things my friends did or I hear our class song.

MOD MOD MOD!!! I have to do an online summer math program for high school next year, and I'm having a hard time getting motivated to do it. I am always making excuses for it! It's not due until the end of August, but I don't want to leave it until the last minute! I'm not very good at math, so maybe that's why. This week I'll be on vacation with possibly no internet access, but when I get back I have to do it. Any tips on how to get motivated??? Thanks for your help!Smile

Hey chica. It sounds like you need to set a time for yourself to complete the program. True, it might not be your ideal way to spend the last month of summer but think about how relieved you'll be once you know you're done. Just get it out of the way and allow yourself to enjoy the rest of summer.

Mod Mod Mod Mod Mod!!!
I need some advice!
ok, so im moving on to high school. And i have a choice between 2 high schools. One is a Catholic high school where all of my classmates are going, and then theres the Public School option where very few from my class are going. There are the pro's and con's but i think i have choose the public school option just because my sister goes there and its walking distance. I am just really nervous because i know very few people and im afraid that it will be awkward and weird being there trying to fit in. Also, my friends from my old school , they said if i go there they wont be my friend anymore! ;( so, im afraid to tell them.! what should i do? THANKSS!

Hey babe! It's really brave of you to want to try something new and I think it's great. Meeting new people and trying new things is one of the best things in life. If your friends said they couldn't be friends with you anymore if you went to a new school, they really aren't your friends, are they? That's super mean of them and they really need to grow up. And you definitely don't need to be nervous about meeting people. There are different schools that go into one high school so everyone will be meeting new people. You definitely won't be the only one. And you probably won't even be the only one coming from a different middle school. You'll find people who you click with and who are true friends to you. Good luck! xoxo

I'm throwing a graduation party soon. The problem is that I have two groups of friends. The first is my Asian friends from my church. The other is my school friends who are all white. They've never met each other and they are totally different. My dad also says that my white friends' parents might be taken aback by my Asian friends. And they eat different things like if I invite my school friends we'll have to buy a pizza or something. I know I'm inviting my church friends already.

Hey girlie, I don't think you have much to worry about. And white people eat Asian food too, so you won't have to worry about different food for them. Invite everyone and have a good time!

MOD MOD MOD MOD ! Next year, Im going to high school. This summer though, I really want to reinvent myself ; like become know as the pretty, smart, outgoing girl. How can I make a change &stick with it ?

Hey babe. Its great that you want to start highschool on a new foot. The best way to change anything is to practice. Trying to learn how to apply natural make-up? Try out techniques now! Want to be more outgoing? Chat up new people at the pool or practice being nice to salespeople or waiters (they deserve it anyways). Before you get to school review some of the academic stuff you learned already. About to take Algebra? Look it up online and learn a few key concepts (it will make you tons more confident). Also, don't be too hard on yourself. Smile Here are some articles that may help:

People have told me over this past school year that I'm very quiet and i dont talk so much. Well i'm going into high school next year and i want that to change. I want my first impression on people to be that i am outgoing and fun and want people to want to hang out with me and get to know me. Any tips you can give me on being more outgoing and confident? Thanks

Hey girl!

Smiling is the best way to show your confidence. To be more outgoing, you can start by going up to people and asking them their names and trying to get to know them better. Everyone's a little nervous on the first day of high school, but if you smile at people and ask them questions about themselves, they'll definitely open up to you and you'll gradually become more comfortable with talking to people. Hope that helps! x0x0

I just graduated 6th grade today, and even the smallest things make me burst out into tears. I'm crying right now just writing about it. How am I ever going to get over it, and I CAN'T just forget about it. Only three people cried and I cried the worst I literally couldn't breathe I was crying so hard and I felt like puking I was crying that much. Please help this is horribly sad I grew up way too fast.

Mod- I have two questions
I just just found out my parents are sending me to this summer school/ summer camp for the whole mounth of July because they were disappointed with my grades this year because I did not make high honnors. They except me to when I did my best this year. I already promised them I will do better next year. I told them I didn't want to go and they told me I had to go and that I should me ashamed of myself. Should I try talking to them again or should I just forgot about it?
- And How long does it take for a club to be approved?
