How can I get over graduation?

I graduated last year from my primary school and I still cry when I remember funny things my friends did or I hear our class song.

Hey girl,

I so wish I could offer
some great advice. Unfortunately since I’m not an expert on the matter, I don’t
want to point you in the wrong direction. Try having a chat with the good old
‘rents. I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to help you get things squared
away.

I am really sad that our school play is ending for the year. What can I do to get myself to not cry at the cast party? I got a major lead this year, so now the play is an especially soft spot in my heart.

Hey girlie,

I totally understand - I just graduated, so leaving everyone was really tough for me too. You'll have ups and downs, and it's important to remember that it's actually BETTER to cry when you feel the need. That way, you won't let your emotions build up and they won't take you by surprise whenever they finally come out. Chances are, you'll wanna cry at one or two times, especially: 1) if you see one of your good friends tearing up, or 2) at the end of the night when it's quiet and you're driving home. It's ok! Just make sure the crying doesn't keep you from enjoying the last night with everyone. Take pictures, reminisce on all your crazy, fun, silly memories together, and have a blast. The reason why you want to cry is because the experience was SO amazing - be grateful for that and never forget it! <3

I'M going on a class trip to Disneyland and everyone is going in groups... well my only friend is going with girls i had issues with this year that hate me. My so so friends are going with other girls ive had issues with. My boyfriend is going with the guys i had issues with. What do i do? theres no one to go with there were a lot of rumors spread about me this year so no one really wants to hang out with me. Should i just go alone?

Hey girl, I'd tag along with the best of these groups, i.e. which one can you tolerate the most? Try to prove the rumors wrong and don't just assume these people have issues with you. They might like you more than you think. So have a good time and leave the drama behind. If you just be polite and yourself, you'll be fine no matter what group you go with.

I am going to 2 graduation (high school) parties tomorrow. Should I bring a gift for them? They are both just friends from church/youth group and I'm 2 years younger than them.
Thank you so much!

Hey girl, it's typically a good idea to bring a card and a little money ($15 to 20 as a gift, but nothing too much) but you don't have to. I think the best thing you can do for them instead is write a letter about how much they mean to you. That letter will mean more to them than any gift in the years to come.

I am not graduating and going to a new school. I'm just leaving 6th grade and going to 7th. I'm really scared because from what I've herd a few of the teachers are really mean. My dad used to teach 7th grade and he told me that that I when a lot o people go their separate ways. But I don't wanna lose any of my friends. They are all great. What should I do to prevent us from branching out?
