@strawberrysmiles actually the fuel used in race engines would absolutely ruin the family car, its racing fuel. Designed for racecars. And on the environment thing, NASCAR's fuel happens to be OK. It doesn't give off as many fumes as before. Auto racing is an American tradion. A sport, like football, basketball, or golf. And when you are at the track and you feel the vibrations of the roaring engines and smell the fuel and burnt rubber, it makes sense why we do it.

i think its great that shes going for her dreams, especially considering that it is a path that is dominated by men. however, i honestly see no point in racecar driving. it is a waste of time, money, and fuel that other people need in order to get to work and see family, not for the sole purpose of entertainment. and even more importantly to me, it is absolutely horrible for the environment! just think of all the emissions and pollution going into the atmosphere from racecar driving alone- thats a lot! i dont mean to offend anybody. again, great for her for going for her dreams, but at the same time, i dont agree with it.
