The best thing you can do is talk to a hairstylist before you get them done. They will be able to tell you what will look good in your hair and what shades to use.

MOD MOD MOD Hi. I feel like I'm being left behind. I'm gonna be a freshman in high school and I'm super scared. I'm scared I won't make any friends...I actually feel like I have no friends right now because it seems like they're all growing up. All of my friends wear makeup, dye their hair, have boyfriends...but to me it isn't normal. I guess you can say I have different priorities. I mean I want to try out basic makeup and get high lights...but now I just feel like I'm forced to look pretty. I don't feel like I'm pretty because I know I'll ever be as pretty as my friends or the people on the magazine. I don't know how I feel. Sorry if this doesn't make sense...but maybe you can help?

You shouldn't feel like you need to be pretty because the truth is, everyone is pretty in their own way. I know it sounds totally cheesy, but it's true. Just because you don't look like someone in a magazine, doesn't mean that you're not pretty. Also, there is nothing wrong with not wanting to wear a lot of makeup or get a boyfriend or anything like that. Just do your own thing and what makes you happy, even if it's not what other girls are doing. You will be happier in the long run if you do this and try not to follow the crowd. Stay strong girly!

So I started my internship at a law office today. I need some dress tips, because it has to look professional but I want it to be cute and young. (I'm 15). Theres no jeans, no shoulders showing, and closed toe shoes. Any tips? Thanks!




Button-up shirts, blouses and slacks or skirts--a cardigan can also go a long way Smile

Hi Mod, Where can i find a white romper? i want it for a bathing suit coverup but also what are other ideas for cute coverups? For my birthday im going to a water park and i have a cute cherry print suit (its navy with red cherries and white dots ) so something to match




Hey girl, white rompers are pretty cute. I'd try Target or Forever 21. As for what you can wear, any romper will work or just a tee or tank and shorts. I'd try some different options out!

Mod, I've often heard that you can blow dry your hair straight with the right brush. I have wavy hair and would like to rock a straight style every so often, so what brush would you recommend? Thanks! Smile

Hey girly,
I use a round styling brush to get a straight look. Also, talk to your hairstylist. She'll be able to help you pick the right brush for your type of hair.
