ok so i saw my mom booking a plane flight and my sis saw her booking hotels.we dont know were we are goin because its supposed to be a surprise trip.i want to tell my mom that we know but im worried she will get mad and cancel the trip!
what should i do!!

Hey girl, its up to you. Sometimes surprises can be a good thing! If you really want to tell her, go for it. She might not cancel the trip.

Im so angry at my parents. I found out that they read every single text i've ever sent. At the exact time. To the exact number. And how many i've ever sent to that number. I feel so violated. I never tell them things because if i do then they're going to flip out and probably start to read my diary! When they didn't know the numbers that i was texting..THEY TRACKED DOWN THE NUMBERS, THE GUYS FULL NAMES, even their ADDRESS. Such creeps! I've stopped talking to them and i can't even look at them anymore because i feel so violated. How do i get them to stop!

Hey babe,

Try to keep in mind two things: 1) they're looking in order to make sure you're not giving away too much personal info and that you're safe (which I know, super annoying - but they care! Which is really important to remember when you're feeling upset), and 2) they pay the cell phone bill so they sorta have a right to know what you're doing with it. Personally, if I had a prob with how my parents were treating my phone, I'd probably try to save up the cash and offer to pay for my plan myself. That way, I was in full control! If there's no way of that happening though, I'd try striking some sort of agreement with them. Let them know that you'll tell them who you're going to text before you text someone new for the first time (and your background with them - like how you know them) if they agree not to read your actual texts. It's sorta like getting approval before you go out with a friend for the first time. You tell your parents who they are, but you don't bring your parents along, if that makes sense <3

My family and I are going camping in a week or so, but we recently found out that freshman orientation is the day we were going to come back. So my dad said we could leave early in the morning, but that idea completely stressed my mom out, and she said I have to choose between going to "an hour lecture or a four day family trip thats been planned for months", because she doesn't want a stressful ride home, and will ditch the whole trip if we have to rush that last morning. I don't know how to handle the situation, since I know that I'll end up having to miss the orientation because my mom is making me choose. What do I do?

Hey chica! I'd definitely talk to your dad about this. He should be able to calm your mom down!

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD I'm going on a 12 hour road trip Saturday afternoon with my older cousin (girl), little brother, little sister and parents. My sibs fight, and my little sister gets carsick, my dad won't let us out of the car very often to use the restroom because he has to "make good time" and my parents will want us to keep things quiet...what are some good time passers for 12 hours and how do we make it thru with out my sis getting carsick and my sibs fighting?

Hey girly,
As a person who has gone on tons of road trips, I would say that you have a ton of options. If you can read in the car, then I would bring a few books and some magazines. You should also have your iPod packed too, just make sure you have a pair of headphones for your dad's sake. Also, some activity books, or books of quizzes, or books like Coke or Pepsi can be really fun, especially when you get the whole family involved. If you just relax and stay flexible and try not to take everything too seriously, then you will have a good ride.

What should I do on a 6 hour plane ride I'm going on tomorrow? It's a night flight, so most people will be sleeping (although I never sleep.) And I don't watch the movies that they play because people's heads are usually in my way. Also, I get bored of just listening to my iPod. What should I do on the ride? I am planning on reading magazines and books for part of the ride, but what should I do the rest of the time? Also, is it rude of me to turn on my light, because most of the lights will be off, and most people will be sleeping?

Hey babe! Just wear something comfy on a plane, you don't want anything sticking into you or making you uncomfortable. Reading and listening to your iPod are great ways to kill time, you can also bring some travel sized games or a deck of cards, I learned how to play so many card games while on planes. And it's not rude at all to turn on your light, that's why everyone has one, it's for your personal use. It won't bother anybody else. xoxo

My best friend.....

Thats horrible Frown The best thing you can do is be there for her. Thats the best you can do. Comfort her. Listen to her. Hold her as she cries. Do whatever she needs to feel better. That may mean she needs space. But make sure she knows you will do anything and everything to comfort her. xoxo kerra

so i'm basically on a family vacay without leaving home and i have a slight issue:my rents say no dating till 16 so i can't even really flirt in front of them and i've noticed alot of cute guys lookin at me and try to flirt without them without them noticing but this is so difficult. What should i do? it's given me alot of slef confidence but what should i do now??

Flirting should be fair game! Just cuz youre flirting doesnt mean youre dating. I say do it and if your parents freak out just say you were being nice and trying to make friends. They wont be able to have a rebuttal for that Smile good luck! xoxo kerra
