MODERATOR!!!!!!!! Can you be depressed because you didn't have any friends during childhood? I'm thirteen now and I have great friends. But I'm so angry and sad all the time. I feel as if everything is my fault. I was bullied in sixth grade. Can this be the cause to my problem? Help? Thanks!




Hey girl, it's hard to say (only a psychologist could really accurately) but it could be a valid theory. If you feel sad and depressed, I would talk to a guidance counselor. It sounds like you've gone through some tough stuff and though things are better now, there's still scars. It's OK to reach out to get help to help you patch and heal them.

I have a few quick questions
1. Im going camping in a couple days im afraid of the ocean were going.Ive seen one to many dangerous animal shows involving the ocean how should I conqure the fear or avoid it?
2. My friends coming along the trip with me and if were together for to long we get on each others nerves what should I do?




Hey girl, 1) sea critters don't stick to the shallow end that much. Make a point not to go too deep and remind yourself you're going to be just fine. And of course, no matter what you do, go in with a friend. 2) Just take a breather for a bit. Go on a walk or do something apart before you get back together. Be sure to give yourselves a break to see other people once in a while.

i don't think this an 'okay' thing for GL to post. i mean if you're going to be a leader...you're born one. you're always the one to take charge. i don't think you could ever change...it's unnatural. i don't think you could ever change yourself. you always eventually change back to your follower self. that's leadership 101 taught in a leadership convention

*********MOD************* I am 5'2" and weight 196 pounds. I want to lose a lot of weight before school starts. My doctor said that losing tons of weight really fast is ok for me to do. But on what diets could I lose 5 pounds a week?

MOD- I want to be more like my older sister. She has a job, has style, tons of good friends, is skinnier, her hair is straight, she is smarter then me, she knows how to get along with people, she is popular, has style, knows how to wear makeup and do her hair, my parents rarely punish her. She is almost everything I'm not. She and I don't get along either though you would think we would since we are close in age. I'm like the opposite! It's awful.Frown How can I be more like her?

 

 

Hey girly! I feel the same way about my sister sometimes. Actually, a lot of the time. However, you can't live your live trying to be like someone else. You should be YOU, and find something to make yourself unique! Take up a new talent or hobby, and then you'll be the one standing out and shining Smile
