What's the diff between goth and emo Im not sure which one I am and I used to feel REALLY stressed that I wamted to die due to my math grades how the kids acted in my class and ALL of the HOMEWORK I didnt tell my counciler about my thoughts because I didn't want her to tell my mom who'd probably think I was trying to start some drama and get mad or if I tell my dad or grandma they'd just start a HUGE mess as Ive learned in the past and my stepfather would think the same as my mom. I just want all the stress of schoolwork to go away!!!!! >Frown It's not that I want to kill myself but I have thought of it I just want to stop the nagging, bad grades, and drama! Sometimes I get really sad but even if I did kill myself it wouldn't be fair because a few people said Nirvana makes me sad even when it makes me feel better and as a HUGE Kurt Cobain fan that wouldn't seem fair to him. Not just that but I'm going to 6th grade at a really great school even though it's public and if I dont (continue)

MOD MOD MOD my parents split when I was three and my dad has no job or a car. I want things to get better for him but last weekend when I told him I was going to be dropped off at the library alone he snuck behind my back and told my over protective grandma! He needs to pay child support and he said he was going to read my diary I thought he was joking but he did and ALOT of stuff in there I wanted NOONE to see until I was dead. So I wouldn't get asked annoying questions. Sometimes all my dad said was "someone was just going to read it anyway." Sometimes I think my dad doesn't love me and just want to use me to pair up with my grandma for info. It makes me feel miserable Frown HELP!!!!!!




Hey babe! That was a really crappy thing for your dad to do! You need to be honest with him. Tell him that your diary is private and that no one else would have read it because no one else would have betrayed you that way. That's exactly what he did, he completely violated your trust and you are so hurt by it. I know I would be. It will help you to tell him everything that's going on in your head, (or just write it all out in your diary so he can read that too-- sorry, this really upsets me) be honest with him and explain to him that it makes you feel like you're using him. Your own father should NEVER make you feel that way, it's so wrong. Maybe tell your grandmother too. Your family should not make you feel this way. Your family should be a supportive bunker, there to cheer you on when you're succeeding and to catch you if you fall. That's what a real family does. Try to explain this to your dad, maybe he needs to grow up. You're the kid, not him. Good luck girlie! If you need anything, don't be afraid to post again. xoxo

MOD MOD MOD!!!! I need help! I want to be goth. Not totally goth but just a little. My mom stepfather and me just moved but my mom said a few months ago she doesnt want the " weird child" my mom used to work with mentally ill Kids before I was born so will she get mad or what?




Hey babe! Start slowly. When you're shopping by the things you like, if that happens to be dark colors, then so be it. Your parents should support you. If you're mom picks out some clothes that are not your style, just tell her that. Go shopping with her so she can understand that you're your own person and want to wear the clothes that you like. Well, this stinks.
My best friend in the world Claire is in Europe for a month, my crush is on vacation along with my other good friend, (which is his sister}, my other friend is in Montana, my really good friend Carolina just moved and is visiting D.C. for a while, my sister who I'm really close to is in Alaska for two weeks, and I just lost a good friend I've known since Pre-K. Sooo, I'm all alone. What do I do and how do I cope, I'm miserable./:




Find something fun to do! Try new things. Find a new hobby. Its summer! get out there and do things and meet people. Dont waste your time Smile if you get out for a bike ride and spent your time doing fun things you wont be miserable Smile

Ok i think i have anxiety. people always tell me i worry too much. sometimes i find myself with butterflies in my stomach or a weird feeling in my gut that something is wrong even when i cant think of why i should feel nervous. i took a quiz online and it said i had existential anxiety. sometimes when i get really stressed out i get panic attacks where i feel like im about to faint, i get dizzy, and tears roll down my cheeks and things feel out of my control...my mom has talked to me about maybe going to a doctor to see if there is anything we can do. what do you think i should do? should i go to my regular doctor or a dr. that specializes in mental disorders? do you think its worth checking out? thanks for your time (: have a lovely day!

Ok i was talking to a friend recently and we got on the subject of looks and stuff and i kept telling her she was gorgeous,beautiful,pretty,etc. but she kept saying she wasn't and also when i said she was smart too she denied it.She's always had this like bad image of herself and even though she's a little bigger she's still my friend and she is pretty.How can I get her to feel better about herself?

Hey! a lot of people will refute complements in order to get more of them, so maybe the best thing for her image would be to talk less about looks and focus more  on doing things she likes that'll make her feel good about herself. Good luck!
