personally, i would tell her that when i tell her something i expect her to keep it to herself because i didnt tell dad for a reason. and if she didnt listen i really wouldnt tell her much anymore. i really dont. my mom tells my dad everything in SPANISH. so i dont really tell her anything monumental.

my mom ALWAYS tells my stepdad, who i happen to hate. she told him why i came home crying ( cuz my BF dumped me) and he tried having a talk with me, and i was SO mad at my mom.

THAT IS SOOO NOT COOL!!! Tell your mom to stop it and back off because ya' know what? she's not trustworthy!! You've got to tell her that if she wants you two to have an open-honest relationship that she has to keep your secrets, and that includes from the rest of the family!

yeah, it was like every time i told my mom a secret I would hear her telling somebody else! ugh it's so annoying, now i have to think twice before telling her anything.
