mod mod i was wondering if you could recommend any overnight pad brands. i cant seem to find one that works

MOD MOD MOD!!! I am scared. I just got my period and it was during the summer so I don't know how to deal with it at school. My mom bought me a little(but cute) bag to keep pads and undies in. But how will I know when to change it? I think it's bothersome to change them because I was always procrastionating doing it this summer. How can I remember to change it during school if I can't even do it at home?

MOD MOD MOD Is it ok to try inserting a tampon before you have ever gotten your period?

It should be alright for practice purposes, but I wouldn't leave it in there.

MOD MOD MOD!!!  Since I was 11 I've had really bad acne. My friend who has already gotten her period (i havent) says that i have most of my acne on my tee line and that means I might get my peroid soon. But my question is when i finally get my peroid, will at least the acne on my tee line go away? I just want clear skin again. I've had 2 differant perscriptions for acne products and 2 store bought acne meds, I wash my face at least 5 times a day,I've even tried some mud mask stuff. You can obviously see that im not playing around with my acne. I cant take it!! Nothing is working!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!

Hey girlie! Acne is a warning sign that your period is coming, but that doesn't have to be any time soon. Washing your face that often is not good for you, your face needs it's natural oils to protect it. Instead, just wash your face in the morning and at night and after any activity that caused you to sweat. You could really dehydrate your face washing it that often. And after you get your period you acne should clear up a bit, but most girls get breakout right before every period. It's just a way for your body to get rid of excess impurities. If those prescriptions didn't work for you, don't give up! Keep trying new things. I used a product that was made from benzoyl peroxide, that is what really kills the bacteria clogged in your pores. Keep asking your doctor or dermatologist for new things. If you don't have a derma, consider going to one. Also take a look at your diet. If you're eating a lot of greasy, oily foods, that can impact your acne. You are what you eat. If you're eating fried foods then your face is going to be oilier and that means there is more bacteria already on your face to clog your pores. Don't give up! Remember that it will go away and there is always something out there to try. xoxo
