Hey girlie,

Sometimes this can be a tough one.  Try to find a cute one that's no too revealing and ask her about that.  Take a peek online and bring it up to her with a picture of that one at the ready.  Be careful not to push it, that'll only lessen the chance that she'll take what you have to say seriously.

hey. I am going into 7th grade this fall. I want a boyfriend, but if i can't get one, how can I tell if a boy likes me? And don't say "He texts you or he asks you to hang out." We are middle school kids. We don't do that much Smile! But I want to know how to tell if a boy likes me, and If there is anything I can do to get a boy to like me.

i wear mostly bikinis ( aeropostale and target are the bomb!) because it's hard to find cute one pieces, (since takinis loook weird on me) because im 5 9'' and really tall for a 12 year old, but in the past i've found really cute one pieces at jc penny and at sports authority Smile

I was the same way, my parents wouldnt let me wear them but somethjing changed and even my dad is ok with some of what I wear. At first he got mad about my bikinis but he seems to accept it now. I think once they see you wearing one they get more used to it.

Some of those swimsuits are very nice. I could look for days to find one I think I would look good in.

And you could be like me, you could have the bikinis you let your family see and then you could have the ones you would only wear around friends or your bf, thats what I do.

i'm allowed to wear bikinis but finding one pieces are sooo hard to find i have an abnormally long torso and it's impossible so whenever teachers say you have to cover up i say i'm covering everything i need to but i will wear a tank top if you desperately need me to.

For your splits, you can sit in butterfly, and your splits while watching tv (That's what my teacher tells me to do)
Or lying on your back against a wall with your legs in straddle, (Ankle weights work great with this) It opens your hip flexors and helps with your splits(:

MOD MOD MOD I need help I dont want to give my age out so my profile wont get deleted so lets just say Im really young but I look older than my age and every time I do something a LITTLE childish I GET YELLED AT! EXAMPLE: This morning my mom went to the doctors it was early so in the waiting room I laied down on the chairs and went to slle I awoke to a nurse putting a blanket on me and then soon tried to go back to sleep. Soon my mom came out and we went to go to her office, but on the way she kept scolding me what could I say it WAS early and I turn in at nine. Can my mom and stepfather cut me a LITTLE slack

i'm 5 foot 6 and pretty skinny, but athletic....what body type am i? and what clothes should i wear? also, what should i do with my hair for the first day? and makeup? sorry this is a lot of questions. lastly, im a dancer and i can't seem to get my splits. im really inflexible. what do you think would help?

 

 

Hey girl. I can't tell your body type from this, but I would guess that you have an athletic body type. If you don't have curves then that would be a ruler. But, like I said I can't tell you for sure. I think that most clothes will look good on your body type the key is to try things on even if you don't think you will like them at first. 

As for the hair q, I would suggest a similar updo since it will probably still be kind of hot. The same goes for make up, you don't want it melting off. Think light and natural.


The best way to increase your flexibility it to stretch regularly. As your dance teacher for some suggestions.

hey girl. This is something you have to search for. I could suggest good quality suits to you, but cheap is harder. Check in sale racks and stores like Target. Also, remember that you will be wearing your suit a lot so there is nothing wrong with splurging for quality.

MOD- Can there be an article on how to cover up stretch marks in a swimsuit? I know there are others with this problem whether it be caused by being overweight or maturing or getting curves. Is our only option to hide them? I know cocoa butter and other lotions can help, but are there easier ways too?

i love all of these outfits soo much... but theres only one problem... i cant fit into any of these! if i can fit in to some things, it would be like size XS or XXS (if they have those sizes) im almost 13, i am the skinniest girl,and i cant fit into any cute clothes that i like... got any ideas for what stores i cant look at and find clothes that will actually fit me so that i dont have to put them in the dryer 100 times in a row? thanks! Hey girl. My advice would be to shop in the girls section (totally, not as bad as you may think. Some of the girls stuff at stores like target is super cute) and at stores that carry smaller sizes. You could also try petites. You really just have to look around.

Hey girl,

For the top, go with a halter style with a band around the bottom. You do not want a triangle bikini or bandeau style because they don't give you any support! But with a halter band, you'll have support, coverage, and the perfect cut to emphasize your curves. As for the bottom, a simple full-coverage bikini style bottom will do the trick. Try choosing a bikini in a fun bright color or with a funky print (like polka dots, paisley, or florals) to draw attention without emphasizing the curves in the wrong way Smile

What I do is I act like it's no biggie (which it's really not, and my mom takes the que- if you act like it's a big deal; it will become one!
I also pick ones that are true to me!

I hate bikinis! They're so revealing and ugly! I don't wear them and don't want to. I think one-pieces and tankinis are fabulous and I hate how people make modest girls feel bad about wearing them! You CAN wear them without looking like you "wore your grandma's bathing suit." If you wear a one-piece or tankini, don't listen to people that will tell you otherwise!
